Heard that the new website - airphilexpress.com will be launched on the 28th concurrent with the Inaugural of their JET routes. Sources say that new website will be much better than the current airphils.com website. New design perhaps with their new livery and colors? Recently 5J modified their website, then PR also made some changes... 2P on the 28th. So it's goodbye to airphils.com? Let's wait and see.

Hmmm.. I like the logo and the color. looks like a real LCC now. (Do they support villar?) i hope airphilexpress gets detached from PAL. Im a frequently flier of Air Phil.. Since the golden days of RPC3012 , 2025... and much much more. If Airphilexpress gets more investors im sure they would boom right away. Please fly your planes at night go back to your regional routes be like CEB, im from PQUE i even see their ATRs leaving MNL at 1900-2030H

Have "cofee buddies" for the updates. Also, if you visit their website, there is a provision for one to subscribe to their promo alerts through sms/text. Don't worry, I'll try to post their promos as "hot" as they come.

I think that their color is actually more of red-orange than orange.2P frequent flyer? So you also flew the aircrafts with "conference seats"? Yung magkaharap kayo ng mga friends mo, or other passengers? hehehe! I also miss that plane! I think airphilexpress has plans to resume their flights to their old destinations and they have aggressive plans to expand to other routes including regional flights. Let's wait and see.

Lets hope for the best.. Does anyone know how many airbuses will be delivered for Airphil? I think if they reach at least 10 320s they will be very competitive.. They can even penetrate the regional market

My source says that in 2-3 years time, 2P may have more than 10 320s. The target for the year is 6 320s. Then they have an order for 4 more 320s next year - totalling 10 by 2011.

I have also read something like this on this thread- Air Philippines to buy 4 more Airbus 320s post # 4633

    Airphilexpress Finally Launched

I know most of you may have probably read about articles of airphilexpress' activities for the past days, I will just recap -

27 MAR 2010, Saturday - Company owner Lucio Tan, with Harry Tan, Michael Tan and Domingo Chua came over to
2P Hangar to do the ceremonial pouring of champagne on airphilexpress A320.

28 MAR 2010, Sunday - airphilexpress inaugural flights to ILO/BCD/PPS and CGY. Heard that the flights were delayed since there were activities lined up. Guess that's normal on Inaugural Flights like ribbon cuttings, etc. Well, for those who missed it, airphilexpress gave away two (2) Roundtrip FOC - FREE OF CHARGE tickets to any airphilexpress destination... for the 4 flights out Manila, and 2 FOC per station for the flights from ILO, BCD,CGY and PPS! Talk about making a noise.... Well, all I can say is - Goodluck airphilexpress! May you have many more promos to come! hehe!

I visited 2Ps new website... it's now more refreshing to the eyes. The colors are lighter...this new website is "cleaner" than the previous site they have. I also tried using airphils.com... well, when you do this you get directed to airphilexpress.com.

Cool New jets mark Airphil Express relaunch(Source:airphilexpress.blogspot.com)

Low-cost carrier Air Philippines is re-launching itself under the brand name Airphil Express starting March 28, 2010 with the acquisition of two Airbus A320-200 aircraft.

The two A320s, sporting the new Airphil Express livery and configured mono-class of 177 seats, will fly starting March 28 from Manila to Iloilo, Bacolod, Puerto Princesa and Cagayan de Oro, signaling the resumption of jet service to these domestic points.

The first A320, with registry number RP-C3227, will be formally blessed in a simple ceremony on March 27 at the airline’s hangar at Nichols, Pasay City.

Airphil Express is acquiring a total of 20 new airplanes over the next four years, to be added to the current fleet of eight Bombardier Q400and Q300 turbo-prop aircraft.

Aside from the two leased narrow-body jets, four brand-new A320s will also be delivered from Airbus’ manufacturing facility in Toulouse, France, between September and November 2010. Four more A320 aircraft will join the fleet next year, five aircraft in 2012 and another five in 2013.

"We want to position Airphil Express as a low-cost carrier offering quality service," said David Lim, President of Airphil Express.. "The modernization of our fleet will hopefully enable us to increase market share while the industry braces for the eventual rebound."

The route network of Airphil Express will continue to expand as it adds to its existing flights to the following domestic destinations: Tuguegarao, Naga, San Jose (Mindoro), Busuanga, Boracay (Caticlan), Catarman, Calbayog, Tacloban, Ormoc, Iloilo, Bacolod, Cebu, Surigao, Dipolog, Cagayan de Oro, Ozamiz, Zamboanga, Davao and Masbate.

More domestic points will be added to the route network when more jets join the fleet.

For additional information as well as booking and ticketing requirements, visit www.airphilexpress.com.

Yes their Logos are not the same.. I appreciate Airphils logo more compared to other Phil carriers.. This is how i find it: Zest Air - Its all about letters no impact at all ZA is your livery wow, Spirit of Manila - If your in your right senses why would you make a sarimanok as your Logo?? Has anyone witnessed a chicken fly?hmmm, Cebu Pacific - In fairness to them they have their original logo since the DC-9 era its the colors that made them look better, PAL - Asias Sunniest right? im disappointed with our current CAT 2 status and Blacklisiting by EU.. PAL cant expand at all., Sea Air - When the Dorniers fly i dont see the logo its so thin i think its better if all white nlang the livery.
