Is it necessary to hire calligraphers?

Who among you are hiring calligraphers to write the names or addresses on your invites? Or acceptable na rin yung naka printer na lang? If not, who would you recommend?

Hi Miss Chocoholic For our ones, we didn't hire any calligraphers. We did our own invitations and wrote the names & addresses down ourselves. It's cheaper that way and adds personal touch to the invitations

hi ms chocoholic. we also didn;t hire calligraphers. we just list down the name and the sitting arrangements of the visitors. 2 weeks prior to wedding, i asked my sister to call my visitors and list down who will attend the wedding. from there, we started to organize the sitting arrangement then 2 friend of mine guide my visitors to their seats.
you can ask your maid of honor or bridemaids to do that for u

It's more of a "good to have" than "must have". If you have the extra money, why not? Pero if you're operating on a budget, wag nalang.
