Verizon Alabang Openings

ECE grad here but the closest I have been to the Telco Industry is the fact that I am working as a cust service rep for AT&T.


i want to take my chances and apply for Network Engineer since alala ko pa naman ang Networking lessons ko nung school.

How is the application procedures. Any topics that you'd recommend me to read?




2nd question: How many months before reapplication?


3rd question: Since I really want to work for Vzb na, is it allowed that I pass application for both Network Engineer and for the Tech Support ( Telecom CSR) post, at the same time?

Just finished my interview last week for NOC position kahit Implementation group talaga yung inaplayan ko. Its my 2nd time to be interviewed at verizon, last time was in consulting group last Dec 2009. Too bad I haven't included in the short-list kasi medyo mataas yung requirement.

They are asking me to submit my application online through their website. The instruction was sent to my email together with the specific job code that I am required to apply.I'm a little bit confused.
What does that mean? Is this how VzB processes the applications? Interviews first then submit your application.. thanks..

Just follow the instructions from VZB. Di ba pag nag aaply ka ng walk in sa mga companies may binibigay silang "application form" where you will have to fill up. In your case online na. Mahirap kasi kung mauuna yung application form, pupunta ka pang alabang then kung hindi ka naman mahihire sayang lang yung pag fill up at pag punta mo. Karamihan kasi pinapa pasa lang yung resume sa headhunter or VZB employee. I hope you get my point.

ang balita ko sa verizon ***** is wala ng incentive referral fee kaya medyo hirap ang HR nila na maghire ng mga new employees. Medyo hardcore cisco experience ata ang needed for this company, hindi ko lang sure ang mga spefics. pero ayon sa aking pagkakaalam may opening pa din ata and medyo mas priority ATA nila yung mga resume ng mga Engineers na sinesend ng mga current employees nila. pero may mga walk in applicants din naman. HTH.

Currently 33 slots ang kelangan sa NOC and 16 slots for Implementation. Kainis yung Verizon kasi hiwalay *** hiring nung NOC at Implementation. Hired na ko sa NOC tapos saka tumawag *** implementation. Hayy..Kaya ayan tinanggihan ko na lang sila parehas.
