Tungkol sa mga leafy veg like pechay, upland kangkong etc. mas okay ba may air pump/air stone?
one of my former employers has a hydroponic garden on their roofdeck. it is made out of tubular pvc, black rubber tubes and recycled styrofoam cups. although they only grow lettuce and wombok pechay.
^ yes and it has nets as a cover. it does not cover the entire roof deck only the plant bed and nets are shaped like half cylinder.
and, they used old paint buckets for the water mixtures. the tubular plant beds are supported by shop made steel stands.

I was wondering, are there differences between taste, texture and nutrients between food grown in soil and thru hydroponics?
