    BIR 1905 - Change RDO

    Hi pwede po question?
I'm transferring to a new company, binigyan ako ng BIR 1905 sabi I have to ask daw *** current employer ko for the RDO Code then patatakan ko daw yung form na yun tapos submit sa kanila.

    Pa'no ba yung procedure dun?
I've been to three companies na po eh and yung TIN ko I personally applied dati pero I've never done the BIR 1905 - Change RDO thingie...
san ko ba yun ififile? tsaka patatak *** ba yun? walang other requirements?

just go to any BIR Office and bring your BIR formthat has your TIN number on it then they will check your RDO code. If in case its not 50, they will ask you to go to that specific BIR office on which you got your TIN. In case if that BIR Office is really far, you can call them and ask if you can fax your 1905 form so that they can update your RDO code. Updating usually takes 5 - 7 days.

ah kasi baka lilipat ka ng ibang town? kasi example you are working in makati then you will transfer sa ortigas, you need to change rdo from makati to ortigas. you go to makati bir then fill up the said form then patatakan mo sa kanila, then submit the copy to your new employer.

alamin mo yung rdo ng lilipatan mo ha

^ yup, sinulat **** po nila. un *** patatakan ko daw nga po. saan po ba? ksi nsa que me pero *** rdo nmin sa main (121) kc large tax payer. sa main ba me or sa pque?

punta ka sa site ng BIR. Merong listahan ng RDO numbers doon. Then puntahan mo yung office ng luma mong RDO number. Sabihin mo papatatak ka ng Form 1905.

Just make sure na pag natatakan na, e naupdate yung record mo.

Will this have a big effect on my soon Employment?

  7. #7
Nakaka-dalawang ITR na ko from my company, wala namang problema.

    Just want to clarify.

I was hired by my new company and they asked me to fill up and file BIR 1905 to change my RDO to 40 - Cubao.

Current RDO ko is 45 - Marikina and I want it to change to 40 - Cubao.

Bale, pupunta ako sa 45 - Marikina to have it stamped. After nun, pwede ko na submit yung BIR 1905 form to my company. Then ok na.

Tama po ba? or may namiss akong step?

    Thanks for the help.

Hi! Im currently working on my form 1905 and i know the old RDO is supposed to be my previous company's RDO...but when i called BIR it says my TIN is registered under my home address and it doesnt show that its registered under my previous company. Found it weird but could it be possible because i registered for a TIN way before i had my first employer and of course it was registered under my home address. Hinde naman ako nag file ng form 1905 during my 1st employment. The RDO office is in Caloocan so i want to make sure na dun talaga ako pupunta. Baka sayang biyahe eh.

i was asked to fill up form 1902 (application for registration) tapos saka nila tatatakan yung form 1905--. i find it weird kasi may TIN na ko before.. bakit kelangan ulit ng 1902. sabi nung BIR person.. posible daw na palitan *** TIN? i thought lifetime na yung number na yun?

    form 1905

is it really necessary to update my RDO?..i do not see the purpose of this when all taxes goes to the main BIR office anyway...is it the responsibility of the employee or employer to make sure that the RDO is updated? I've been working for a new bpo for 11/2 yrs now and because my employer insist that I should update my RDO myself, I've been being taxed as a single-0 instead of M4...i submitted my ITR form 2316 from my previous employer since the date I started but HR said that it's nothing. can I file a case against my employer for failing to apply the correct exemptions?

Then sila po ang magfoforward sa new bir rdo niyo.
10 days ata ang hihintayin ng pag transfer.
Pupunta po kayo sa new bir rdo (or tawagan niyo nalang) para iverify if okay na.

Napakadali nito compare sa experience ko:
Self employed tin-> closing of business -> employee tin -> transfer rdo

Hi, I just want to ask... So nagregister ako online... Yung online registration for self employed pala, wala pa naman akong trabaho non estudyante pa. Binigyan ako nung babae sa bir nung requirements for closing of business, e wala akong mapasa kasi di naman akin yun... Panong ggwin ko...

sorry for a bit stupid question... pero, bakit ba kailangan i-update yung rdo?

i mean, dito kasi sa company ko for almost 3years, may merging na nangyari, then sabi nila, we have to check nga daw kung sang rdo kami nakaregister, at kung hindi daw rdo 50, we need to go to that rdo for the stamp. eh nalaman ko na sa 53b ako, which is sa alabang pa.

Sobrang hassle.
