^ frosh ka palang, ganyan talaga. madami ka pa pagdadaanan. frosh kasi pinakamahirap eh, adjustment phase yan. by 2nd or 3rd year masasanay ka din. that's if kaya mo talaga kasi demanding talaga ang CSE. pero pinakamahirap daw na subjects ng CS majors during 1st year eh, not sure though.

wag mo isipin graduate on time, isipin mo lang Ga-Graduate! madaming hindi nakaka graduate sa CSE eh, kadalasan shift-out or kick out.

ha? ID 99? 103? 104? OMG. haha. naku oo nga isipin ko na lang makagraduate talaga. nadadaan naman lahat sa aral. aral lang talaga. naku.. sana nga kayanin ko.. parang mahirap. pero wala pa namang bagsak as of now.

totoo yang sinabi mo. SOBRANG HIRAP NG FROSH LIFE. COMPRO1, COMPRO2, DISCTRU, CCSALGE, CCSTRIG, CCSCAL1, waah.. pahirap. thanks kay Lord, and by my effort, napapasa ko naman lahat.

Haha those subjects are nothing compared to the core CT subjects like NTANALY or whatever the new name is.

COMPRO1 is there to filter out all students who are "unfit" for CS. If you can't get a grasp of COMPRO1, shift out. Easy as that.

Haha 103 and 104 na hindi pa naggraduate, that's not considered new anymore for CT majors. You won't be able to get through the thesis if none of your groupmates has a solid understanding of the CT subjects.

2nd Year Majors ko iyon. Prerequisite: CCSALGE. Prerequisite to: BASELEC. / LBYBELC.haha.

at yun nung binuksan ko MLS ko, Pasado.
    ayun.

Ngek. So wala rin kayong idea?
Sabagay Computer Wiz kayo.

Wala nang ICTM ngayon, the fallback course for students who can't absorb the core CS subjects...

BS INSYS na tawag dun, and dami na nagshishift.

  14. #34
    ay talaga? hahaha!
kami nga pala 1st batch ng ICTM. :P

  15. #35
ICTM is total crap. It's like CS without all the hard subjects. No real subject that deals with Communications nor Management.

The pre-enrollment seminar should show prospect students what CS is really all about. Don't show robots or working software, show them what's needed to accomplish these.

    FAILURE RATE (1st Term, 2009-2010)
    COMPRO1: 70%
    COMPRO2: 70%
    Dissolved Sections in OBJECTP: 1

  17. #37
yup. ICTM is what we call CS lite :P

  18. #38
70% of the batch failed COMPRO1? Oh my god it gets worse every year... no offense but I think people are getting dumber.

Teachers are getting more lenient / considerate every year lalo na sa CT subjects.

Since you'd like to study in DLSU after all, then go with AE-BSA. Yes, it's a difficult course, but the payoff is really great - tons of job opportunities await you, and the respect people will give you for surviving AE-BSA. Plus, the profs in both Economics (AE) and Accountancy (BSA) really know their stuff - rest assured you'll have a meaningful learning experience.

A better way is to show them programmers working in the office 8 hours a day. It's probably the best way to show what their job is after they graduate.

Marami sa graduates hate their job and get bored to death. Many of my batchmates ended up going to sales, graphics and some even went to med and law school. Mahirap maappreciate ang computer science, unlike medicine or law, kasi its almost glorified factory work. Kung mahal mo pa rin ang CS after graduating, you're one of the lucky few
