to laliza, nice. national geo had been my favorite magazine since I was 12...when I use to read it at doctor's offices when I was sick. I had over 7+ years worth of publications, a lot of them I had to throw away.

to ashley, time and newsweek I usually buy when I'm at airports. I like Newsweek because Fareed Zakaria usually contributes there.

Reader's Digest, I only buy once in a while. I like the Jokes section. Reader's Digest though I've noticed have become more conservative over the years, at least more than the liberal Time.

^I thought about it. You know you can win 100 dollars (I think) if they feature it right? lol

I don't buy them. We're subscribed to them. We have A LOT of mags that we're subscribed to. What I read are RD, TIME, NGC, and Discovery.

But I'd sometimes find myself reading Good Housekeeping and that gardening mag I can't seem to put my finger at the moment.

Before I'd buy gaming magazines like EGM or Game Now although I could only afford back issues (I usually go for the thick ones) since latest issues usually cost 450 back then as compared to back issues which were like 150. Some were buy 1 take 1

And no, we don't subscribe to Men's mags.

Reader's Digest. It's an amalgamation of sorts (vocab. quizes, true stories, fiction, and laugh trip). Rarely do I buy mags now, I invest more on paperbacks these days.

During my uni days, i used to drop often at the school library (in between classes) to read Time, RD, Life Magazine, and Nat'l Geographic.

used to read Nat Geo Mag too when I still lived with my grandmother. She used to buy a lot of those stuff.
