^ I used Budget for my visa, and Happy for the airfare/hotel/tour package. I never inquired at Friendship. Just try to call those agencies. I don't know how much Budget's rates are at the present.

Hi guys! Do you have any idea kung ano yung requirement kapag student palang?

I dont have work right now so CoEs and ITRs are out of the question. The documents that I can produce to support my finances are certificates from various banks and credit card statements. What are the chances that I'll get approved?

  4. #64
^No one can really tell what your chances are. If you don't have work now maybe you can just submit your latest ITR. I don't know if the credit card statements will help pero i-present mo na rin sa agency. Do your best to prove that you can adequately finance your stay.

^ I presented photocopies of my credit cards and credit card and bank statements too.

Wala kayang maging problema kung iba *** port of entry na nilagay dun sa visa application sa actual port of entry mo pagpunta mo sa Japan.

Sa application kasi ang inilagay ko ay Tokyo pero I changed my mind now and ang magiging port of entry ko ay Osaka.

while your bank certs & cc certs can show proof of your current finances, i think it's still necessary for you to submit some proof of your source/s of your income. the embassy officials may find it odd that you do not have a proof of your source/s of income.

it will be wise to call any of the accredited agencies to get info on how to go about this problem.

and also, medyo worrysome din to read sa site nila that submitting all the requirements does NOT guarantee visa. gasp.

I don't think na magkakaroon ng problem.
Di naman naka-indicate sa visa ang preferred port of entry eh.

  13. #73
^^nakuha ko na visa ko purple, sa mid east ako now, medyo iba ang procedure ng japanese consulate dito compare sa pinas, walk in lang dito and pagdating ko sa consulate 3 lang kami applicant, yung isa for passport releasing pa hehehe

Hi All, i've been reading through the forum and i just want to ask the opinions of those who have experienced applying for a VISA and going to Japan.

ask ko *** po sa lhat ng mga nag apply.. how much po ideal na i-present na bank certificate? Family of 3 kme. hubby, me and 4yo. Would P150K and USD$3,5 be accepatable? We got our COE, ITR, NSO certificates.. bank certificate nalang before submission of application form.. I want to be sure that this is acceptable..

for kyoto/nara day tour.. I saw this tour at japanican.com for Y15,400/pax.. http://www.japanican.com/tours/tourd...010&pn=2&ipn=1 is it too expensive or just right for first time travellers like us? i am thinking that a guided tour is more efficient since we're bringing our daughter with us.

buying a kansai thru pass ticket advisable? we'll only be in osaka 4 4days/3nights

How much would be the ideal pocket money for the trip? How much cash can we bring with us to the airport? I saw something that we are not allowed to bring more than PHP 5k with us? Is it better to use credit card?

I'm thinking of staying in Hotel Villa Fontaine. I saw lots of great reviews from this forum..

    Basically, our IT will be:

Day1: walking through Shinsaibashi -Dotonburi area (since we arrive late at night)
    Day 2: Kyoto/Nara tour
Day 3: Universal Studio (My girl loves shrek)
Day4: Osaka Tour (Osaka Castle, Shin-Umeda City Floating Garden,
Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine, Shintennoji Temple) or maybe Shinsaibashi -Dotonburi area again

    Is this feasible?

I look forward to all your suggestions.

    Thanks so much in Advance!

For visiting the following: (Osaka Castle, Shin-Umeda City Floating Garden, Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine, Shintennoji Temple)

How much are their entrance fees?

For kansai through pass? will we be able to use that from Kansai Airport to Hotel Fontaine? and to USJ and within Osaka?

It's 5000Y for a 3 day pass.. should we buy it or its cheaper if you buy based on destination, although a bit of a hassle?

Sorry.. got too many questions.. I would appreciate any help!

im just checking the expenses and i think the kyoto/nara day tour is expensive.. can we do this on our own? any suggestions how?

Do you think PHP 60K is enough for the IT described above? or we need more?

    Thanks again!

these might be silly questions pero gusto ko lang din ma-check:

    1. ok lang ba na naka-smile sa picture for visa?
    2. by experience, howmuch ba ang laman ng bank cert na enough para ma-approve ang visa?

    thanks in advance sa magrereply.
