Talaga? Baket ganon, hindi na pinasama ng RELI tours yung luma kong passport with a valid US Visa (10 years multiple entry) and other travel stamps? Sabi sa kin di na daw kelangan?

Yep! When I saw the 0 Fare of Cebu Pacific Last Time, I just booked a flight without even thinking. Haha.

If I will tell them that I'll be staying at a friend's house, would my application then change from tourist to visiting friends/relatives?

    TIA!

you can always apply for a tourist visa and tell them you'll be staying with a friend. or mag dummy reservation ka from any hotel in Osaka. Check out the requirements na lang kung kailangan nga. good luck!

my question is still the same above, for anyone who've experienced this..
I already obtained a certificate of eligibility granting me one year stay as a student in Japan.
Will get the services of Reli for my student visa application within the week.

Hi guys! Plano ko mag work sa Japan next year. Thanks!!

I think it is not an issue whether you have a 100k or millions of pesos in your bank account. Basta ang mahalaga sa kanila ma kumpleto natin ang requirements na hinihingi nila. May kapitbahay kami na denied yung visa, pero iyun sana 2nd time nya pumunta sa Japan.

they seldom hire abroad. they need people that resides within japan as one of the basic requirement. and when they do hire abroad, they go directly to native english-speaking countries such as the states, australia, canada.. etc. it won't hurt though to apply online. just keep trying and look for that one opportunity. my advice is to become proficient with the jap language at the very least.

a working visa btw, is sponsored by the company you plan to work with. they will take care of it for you. so unless a company wants you badly you cannot be issued a working visa.

Actually naghananap ako ng opportunity doon at ang pinaka best shot ko for employment there is being an english instructor. Through Gaba or the Jet Program since hindi ako marunong mag Japanese. Mukhang mahigpit sa Japan at isang malaking blessing siguro sa akin na makapasok dito.

May friend ako sa Japan at permanent resident na yata mom nya doon. Hinihikayat nya akong mag Japan pero mukhang napaka hirap pumasok doon.

    Layover in Japan

    hi!

Question lang po please for some clarifications...I will be going to book a flight from MNL to LAX pero may layover in Japan, it will be with All Nippon Airlines(ANA)...question is do i have to get a transit visa or it is not needed na? I was able to search some info na it will be the airline na ang mag apply nun for the passenger based on the Japan Embassy website...pero how will i know?

    Thanks!

  9. #709
^ kung di ka naman lalabas ng airport di mo na kailangan ng transit visa.

hi ! tanong ko lang po kung ano chance namin ng daughter ko to get a visa, kasi ang reason talaga kung bakit puputa japan is ito kasi yong wish ng daughter ko for her 18th birthday instead of a debut party, ang makapunta ng japan , she really loves hello kitty gusto niya punta ng puroland, and of course mapuntahan ang ibang place sa tokyo and after baka mag osaka na lang kasi pricey sa tokyo, and gusto sana naming igrant yong wish niya if given a chance to have a visa, baka may sample kayo ng itinerary niyo pashare naman po, for visa purposes,Tokyo and Osaka iteniraries, ang problem is wala akong work, ang source of income is remittance from my hubby which is a seaman, kaya wala ako maipakita na ITR , kasi wala nga po ako work, show money is 2xx,xxx 5-6days lang po magstay, okay po kaya yong purpose of travel is , “gift for my daughter’s 1t8th birthday” , which is true naman po talaga yon, nakapagtravel po ako sa Thailand, Hongkong and Singapore, while my daughter is sa Hongkong pa lang may chance po kaya na maaprove kami. Thanks

and so i finally got approved for a year.

then have your friend's Mom invite you over and sponsor your visa for a 1-3mos visit. i'm not sure if that can be approved though. you need a concrete reason for going there in the first place and searching for a job as a reason will have your visa denied outright. also start applying online.
the JET programme by the way, requires some teaching background or a major perhaps related to teaching if my memory serves me right. i've read also that toefl and some equivalent rating system on english will be handy, so if you can afford it you should take the test and get good marks. competition for a slot is also fierce (JET). if all else fails, you should also consider applying for a scholarship for another major in college/university although the selection process is stringent as well. just don't give up.

    @sweetgirl,

better to consult an agency regarding your chances. fyi, japan has relaxed a bit on approving tourist visas, they need tourists. nothing you can do but to try your luck and hope for the best. good luck.

better to ask the agency that processed your visa for you. they have similar experience na for sure handling such cases. sa student 5 days kaso there was an additional process needed kaya 7 days ko nakuha yung result. maybe nagbabackground check pa sila sa data mo against the different agencies na may record ka NBI, NSO, SSS, maybe? the process may take longer than the others like tourist, visiting, student...
