Hi nurseharbee and kraven, I'm really confused. I'm planning to undergo dialysis training, which one among these dialysis centers should i go to?

ARC, NKTI, PKDF, or PHC?

nurseharbee do you have a list of dialysis training centers or hospitals that provide dialysis training that are accredited by RENAP?
Is NC-CLEX accredited by RENAP?

maganda daw sa PDKF. on-hand daw doon di kagaya sa iba thats why almost 20k ang fee. tapos possible na sila daw ang kumuha sayo ng trabaho since direct sila sa renap. ayon sa kakilala kong nagdialysis training sa iba.

gusto ko sanang mag dialysis training sa PKDF kaya lang wala pa akong pera. kaylangan ko munang magtrabaho para makaipon. after nun pag nakapag dialysis na ako magaapply na ako abroad as a renal nurse. yahoo!!

Here in the US they don't aknowledge any other Renal accreditations except their own which is BONNET. You only become a Certified Renal Nurse after passing Bonnent.

Hospitals here don't really require dialysis experience because they will train you and that is with pay, but of course if you have prior experiece it will certainly give you an edge. Renap certification is not recognized here in the US. It'e enough that you have the training. Better we like people who came from the ward.

Even Masters of Arts in Nursing from the Philippines will not really give you an edge here, Because here in the US they only recognize Masters Degree from an American University. But don't fret, because hospitals here will gladly sponsor your Masters Degree if you are deserving.

Dialysis training, will you be recognized as a dialysis nurse abroad when you took your dialysis training here in the Philippines.? Some of my friends say that foreign countries will not credit you as a CRN unless you need to undergo dialysis training again under their premises/supervision?
