    What's the best HMO?

HI! We're planning to get hmo for our kid . ano kaya ok? infos naman please. thanks!

  2. #2
hmos that are good are intellicare, maxicare & medserv. however, these hmos have different packages that would determine what kind of privileges you can avail of... my company & my hubby's company provides for our hmos, both intellicare, but we have different privileges. for example, from hubby's company, all of us are automatically members of the hmo, no charged fees. but with my company, adding family members would mean enrolling them every year w/ 4k worth of charge per person. also, with hubby's hmo, we get discounts for vaccines, sometimes free vaccines, we are allowed to have check-ups on any hospital of choice, free lab exams, and a lot more. with my hmo, we don't have that, so we did not enroll our kids in my hmo since my hubby's hmo basically covers everything...

    i highly recommend Intellicare.

medicard officer will visit you everyday pa to let you know the current charges applied.

I go for medicard as well. I don't have any problems with it pagdating sa admission. kahit sa dental care maganda din sya gamitin. maganda din sana yung caritas healthcard covered ang members from head-to-toe ika nga, big time hospitals pa yung mga listed sa kanila. kaso ang daming arte. hindi basta magagamit unless magpa-assess/refer muna sa mga caritas clinic saka ka pa lang makakapunta sa hospital of your choice.

depende na siguro sa hospital yun kung panu nila namamanage ang mga pasyente under hmo's. sa medical city naman walang ka-hassle hassle kahit mapa-medicard or other card pa ang gamit. kahit sa friendly care clinics.

Naku! Wag na wag kayo kumuha ng Intellicare. Lahat ng sakit kina-classify as Pre-existing.

    Agree

Been with Medicard, Intellicare, and Philcare (current).

Intellicare was ok with me kasi maganda benefits nila lalo nung na confine ako ng one week (maski probi pa lang ako). All three may charge ranging from 300-900php per dependent.

Haha

Ang i-consider nyo is yung serbisyo na sakop nito like anu-anu benefits at gaano kabilis yung response nila etc etc.

Pag binarat ay don't expect for the best service maski kilala pa ang HMO provider.

    Company: "1M"
HMO: "Everything included sa premium nila, less 20%"
    Company: Deal.

Eto sabi sa akin ng bespren ko. Hahahahaha

Oh well off-topic na ata ako. LOL
