i think orlando can beat boston in a 7-game playoff series by may, when KG's legs break down and sheed decides its more exciting to get T'd by the refs than actually win games.

on durant, his scoring average is nice... but still needs to develop a killer instinct. he's got the tendency to be incredibly erratic in pressure-packed situations.

didn't dwight once complained about his lack of touches? oh i bet you don't know that because you're not yet a magic "fan" during that time.

howard is a very good player but he's not in the level of lebron, kobe and wade. so please dont be mad when he doesn't get the same "love" compared to the three.

i think the lakers should hold on to farmar as long as they can. he's back this season and he's really playing nicely. maybe it's because he has competition for his minutes at the point guard but i don't mind at all.

He complained last year in the playoffs. Haven't heard a single thing from him about it this year. Is that because he just chose to shut his mouth? I don't know. But please watch Magic games and tell me if he lacks touches.

And just because he's not in the Kobe/Lebron/Wade level, is it right that he won't get the same treatment from referees? He's been hacked and mangled every single game and not being "rewarded" just because he's a big man and can take the punishment. It would take its toll on him in the long run. No matter how strong a guy is, continuous unwarranted physical beating will eventually wear him down.

So if we follow your terrible logic, it means you don't know anything about basketball other than the Spurs and LeBron.

howard is a very good player but he's not in the level of lebron, kobe and wade.
That's beside the point of my contention.

so please dont be mad when he doesn't get the same "love" compared to the three.
You're only looking from an offensive standpoint which is partly not responsive to my earlier post.

The love that seems to be eluding Dwight is the respect of the officials on the defensive end. For crying out loud, he is the reigning defensive player of the year but ironically, he has had some trouble with staying on the floor this season because of all the dubious fouls that he's getting called for.

...and all the grabbing of his neck/head being called just a regular foul because he's big and strong and doesn't seem fazed by that. It's ridiculous.

Let me guess, the fuss is also connected to the Indiana vs Orl game right?

I never saw what happened..based on what I read...Dwight allegedly retaliated at Troy Murhpy for his roughouse play by throwing a punch..tama ba?

The NBA rescinded the technical on Dwight and upgraded the foul to flagrant for Murphy. The reaction of Dwight was sudden because of the neck grab he received. It's not like he chased Murphy around or tried to hurt him after the play. He was just frustrated by the fact that all the grabbing around his neck/head area just doesn't stop and the referees haven't done anything about it all season long. A tongue-lashing by SVG seemed to wake them up. Knowing the NBA and how they protect the referees, I'm surprised SVG was not fined yet by his outrage in the press conference after the game.

oh ok...so its not just a regular touches...

    On-topic:

Yao Ming and JVG(before) complained with that kind of call (or lack of) from the referees. I think Shaq is the only big man who recieves special treatment from the zebras. I remember Shaq can sleep, eat burgers and watch his favorite show on TV inside the 3-second area without having any violation.

I regret trading Troy Murphy in my fantasy league. Wow 26 points and 14 rebs on 10-12 shooting. Add to that five threes.

I think it's safe to say that whether the Raptors make the playoffs or not, Chris Bosh is bolting the team. Toronto should just try listening to deals for him to salvage some value.

The non-call on Kobe's very obvious charging foul gives more credence to Donaghy's revelations. Kawawa naman yung mga small market teams.

    David Stern sucks!

Small markets? All Milwaukee had to do was to convert their freethrows.

^ Easy for you to say that because you're a Laker fan.

Put yourself in the position of a Buck fan and let's see if you won't echo my sentiments.

Yes, Milwaukee had their chances but at the end of the day, that non-call was a crucial one. Just imagine if this took place in game 7 of the NBA finals.

Probably going to hurl curses but at the end of the day I'm going to think long and hard about those freethrows that were not converted or that gimmies missed by my team.

Besides, it was not only Milwaukee who was getting the short stick from the refs.

shaq has been complaining about it for the longest time already. the refs has called the game differently for bigmen. so if there's a bias, then's it's against the bigs and not really against howard.

the league favors offense over defense that's why the offensive player will almost always have the calls in their favor compared to the defensive player. i don't think lebron, kobe and wade are given the same favors defensively compared to what they receive offensively. imo that's howard's problem and the fact the he plays inside increases the risk of fouls even.

Thank you for alluding my complaint. You said it perfectly. But it doesn't mean that we should just accept the status quo (AKA the "norm") if it's blatantly wrong.

Chris Bosh, while putting nice numbers, is not a franchise-caliber type of player. He doesn't make his teammates better. He doesn't play defense. He doesn't have the fire/passion that his other colleagues have (e.g. Kobe, LeBron, Wade, CP3) which makes them special. He will be a perfect second banana to the aforementioned stars but you can't build a team around him and expect to contend.
