Why is Liberty/wi-tribe offering then 1Mbps if it is 4G? Because Liberty/wi-tribe's 1Mbps is superior to Smart's HSPS's 2Mbps service. Smart's actual speed is only 256kbps or less most of the time while wi-tribe's service of 1Mbps gives customers speeds closer to 1Mbps and is more consistent and has better quality. This is made possible because Liberty/wi-tribe is powered by 4G (Fourth Generation) technology!

In the meantime, obviously apparent, 4G is the best wireless internet broadband service now at present and we just have wait till 4Q 2013 for the LTE because this is really broadband to the max!
Unfortunately wi-tribe has a 3GB cap per month of usage. If you use more than 3G within a month, your speed will be reduced from 1mbps to 758 kbps. If within the same month you exceed another 3GB, your speed will again be reduced to 512 kbps. Another 3GB of usage will again drop you to 256 kbps. You will only get back to 1mbps if once the next month comes in. Just to add, regular big usage, they have the option to terminate your service.

So yes you have the speed, but you won't be able to download a lot with it.

Sun Broadband-the best here in Zabarte Road Caloocan City North...
Mabilis umaksyon pag nag-reklamo...alam mong congested pero ginagawan talaga ng paraan ng technical team because nakikita mong may improvement...like for the month of April...2 weeks akong walang internet coz there's a reported technical activity along Zabarte Road to increase bandwidth.

Sa ngayon, back to normal na siya at mabilis na ang internet browsing...medyo MABAGAL LANG ang direct downloads...

GLOBE AND SMART!

SUN - my choice...keep it up!
Kahit may problems, still they're doing their best to give the best possible service...

Sana makapag-upgrade na sila to give higher bandwidth!

    -Price
    -Customer, technical service & support
    -Rate of connectivity
-Reception of signal (mostly in Metro Manila esp. Makati pero hopefully kung pwede sa buong bansa)

So yeah, what would you guys choose?

...I only tried Smart Bro, ok naman, mabilis naman ang speed umaabot siya ng 1Mbps for 990 pesos per month.....I think mas mabilis ito kesa sa DSL PLDT offer of the same price parang nasa 300+Kbps lang ang speed....

always test with a US server. walang kwenta ang results na nakukuha mo via testing at a local site. you're just worthlessly padding the results and niloloko mo lang pati sarili mo. ikaw gumagamit ng net, afterall.

pls help. which is the most reliable wireless ISP in bgy. ususan, (near acacia estate) taguig?

i'm a heavy downloader of youtube. i reviewed some of the thread, and i think witribe would not be suitable for me bcoz of its cap of 3G per month. i think globe has its cap as well.

accdg to thread, smartbro and sun broadband are not reliable, waste of money.

which would be the best for a monthly of p1,000 to p1,500 per month.

pls help bcoz badly need wireless connection and i use youtube a lot. tnx
