    DLSU gay community

Frosh here... I recently just opened up regarding my sexuality. Coming from a Evangelical high school, I never had gay friends. I love all my friends, but they don't really understand my situation, since all of them are straight. If may gay community nga diyan sa DLSU, magparamdam naman kayo... haha! Feel ko kasi ako lang nagiisa...

Di ka nag iisa. I know someone. Kaso sa PEx ko lang din kilala eh.

Sa DLSU ksi minsan lang ako makakita ng gay. I'm looking for good gay people to be good friends with. Iwan ko nalang number ko just in case anyone would want to meet up inside the DLSU-M campus.

    it's 09228572101

Note... di ako fake, and I'm not looking for fake people.

Join Gang Green. There are many gay members there, headed by Fried Green Tomato. Just ask around.

Why not start with the faculty? Many of them are openly gay and, in fact, are some of the best supporters of Danton Remoto and LADLAD

I don't think this comment is funny. I am an alumnae of DLSU and I am gay. I hope that we should be careful with what we are saying here. DLSU gave my diploma regardless of my gender. So i believe that DLSU accepts and respects us minority.

This is not funny. this may be interpreted that we do not belong in DLSU. Please, try to be sensitive and respect others, even the minorities.

I understand the feeling that you need to have gay friends. Why? It is because we can understand what you are going and you will be needing our advise. I have gone through this stage also. You can easily notice gays who are out of the open. If you see them just approach them and introduce yourself. That is right magpakatotoo ka kapag nagpakilala ka they will appreciate you more. now, there are other gays who are not out in the public. i suggest you respect their choice and give them time to decide para sa sarili nila. Maraming circumstances kung bakit di sila nakakapag out.

there are also gay professors in DLSU that are proud with their gender. if you have problems, you may consult with them.

Gay Lasallites are difficult to spot in the campus and Im speaking from my personal experience hahaha. I was in La Salle for 4 years and I only got to meet 2 gay guys from school, and I got to meet them through the internet. It was a difficult situation, Im a closeted gay guy when I was still studying (but heck I've got the hots for one of my prof. back then, such a hot momma hahah). If I were you go out in the open and explore your surroundings, gay guys in La Salle are everywhere you just need to use your gaydar hahaha or better yet play hips dont lie by shakira guys who'd be shakin' their thang are most definitely gay hahah.... I miss school :P

    hi, just barging in

    TS

dont ever shout out your an open wanker at dlsu, that is so not cool with the tad these days, its just so not that important, coz they dont give a damn about you and not to mention you might scare away the prospects...alot a bi's humming in dlsu and they're game for some luvin, its just that they dont want a tag less of a megaphone inscribed at your forehead "queer" "f@g" so keep a low profile and just hang out with guys, ill bet ya it'll attract more guys rather than the open groups recommended above - they just shoo away the boys..ya know what i mean?

Oh my God, what kind of advise is this?

are you trying to say, that you should keep distance from those gays who are out in the open? this is not right. it is as if you are advising that a gay guy discriminates other gay guys. Moreover, you want the person to hide his identity, so that he can hook up with more guys? This is selfish. If you possess this kind of thinking, how can you expect other people to respect and accept us? Pretending to be straight, when in fact you are not, is a lie. I don't think people will love that nor give you the respect due to you.

I have been out for more than 15 years already. People appreciate if you are honest about yourself. people will respect you more if you stand and fight for who you are. Well, i can say that has been my experience. Right now, I am more happy with my life because people love me and another thing i have caring, thoughtful and loving partner.

My advise to both of you, be honest as to who you are. you don't have to wear dresses because we are no longer in the era where we have to make a statement. Plus, wearing dresses may not be who you really are. Just be humble, honest and kind.
