Brutal may mean anime series full of gore. Naruto Shippuuden and Bleach aren't brutal for me... They are just action-packed like any other action/adventure anime series... Though I haven't seen Elfen Lied and School Days, un yung mga series na sabi nila e may disturbing scenes... Sa mga napanuod ko nmn, Hellsing at Peacemaker n yung pwede kong consider n brutal...

    Again One Piece is ignored...

EDIT: Naalala ko dhl s sumunod n post... Claymore...

Elfen Lied (I couldn't even get past the second episode)
    Yung isang short from Animatrix

Um, I don't think brutal ang bleach at naruto. Mas brutal pa nga yung OAV ng Rurouni Kenshin.

Agree, hindi brutal naruto and bleach. For me, here are some brutal animes I've seen:

    1. Elfen Lied
    2. School days (at the ending episode/s)
    3. Gantz
    4. Berserk
    5. Higurashi (although hindi direktang pinapakita yung mga brutal parts).

Meron pang isa, medyo latest yung anime, it's about a samurai who's immortal due to some parasitic worms in his body which enable body regeneration. Well brutal yung mga fight scenes dun.

    ^^blade of the immortal

Claymore - was good, the fights were hella brutal
Shigurui - had some twisted stuff along with the sick animation
Kite - the guns do the talking
Hellsing Ultimate - the comedy was probably out of place with all the gory stuff, pero i find it amusing.
Blade of the immortal - i liked the story so far, but the some of the characters were just crazy.
Berserk - the oldest brutal anime i've watched, i hope they make a sequel of it.

Someparts of Ghost in the Shell and Akira were brutal, but not brutal enough if you compare them to the ones above

I don't want anime often, but I've read and watched part of Berserk. A manga I read years ago about Musashi Miyamoto is also violent...I think it's called 'Vagabond'.

    How about Black Lagoon?

  15. #15
Lol@Naruto and Bleach being brutal. As others have mentioned, Berserk, Blade of the Immortal, and Black Lagoon are some good ones.

Here's something you guys might find interesting -- Mnemosyne. It's a brutal, twisted, borderline hentai anime with immortal women, voiced by the likes of Noto Mamiko and Kugimiya Rie.

    Afro Samurai is brutal.

^ brutal nga pero kahit papano, it's still in the grounds of the sport, unlike most of the animes na nilista na natin.

maski ako napapasabay pag nasusuntok siya ni hawk

    Brutal? Code Geass FTW!!!

It's not graphically gory at all but the thought of it is just haunting! The story is sooo wicked - like it's normal for siblings to kill each other and it also includes your own dad and mom so that basically makes every one in the family is a legit kill. And also there were some scenes where kids, babies, and senior citizens being gunned down..

It is quite disturbing to the point that I felt that I wasn't the same person as I used to be after seeing this anime and there were some scenes that would prompt me to ask myself if I'm capable of pulling off similar stuffs.. Hehe! Now, I'm a psycho on the loose!

Sweet Euphemia and Shirley were not spared from the violent and grotesque nature of the storyline.. It's just ridiculous but highly entertaining.. Arrrrggghhh!!! Feel like...Killing...
