It's all in the attitude pre.
you can apply in call centers that accepts undergrads.
ask yourself what are your skills?
who do you know that can refer you?
are you willing to do jobs that is not connected with your course?
i am an undergrad and i started my career in the corporate world at 32 ......now i have a stable job and im earning like those of college grads. bottom line is nasa diskarte lang yan
27 is still young basta lang concentrate on your skills or better yet find ways to improve it and dont lose hope!
I understand why you are thinking that way pero kapag mas iniisip mo na hopeless ka, the more hopeless you will be. Think more positive.
dont you have any previous job before?
what field is your course ?
make dozen's of resume and submit it to diff companies which ever field or kind of work you like, wait for call, prepare for interview, expect the worse thing like , not passing the interview on first second third attemp and so on, just keep on tryin' untill you passed,
i agree palakasan system, and discrimination is evereywhere, this does'nt mean you cannot find one, A lot of workers out there leave for jobs abroad everyday... so there's alway's be vacant somewhere...
and even if you passed in one , still keep on submittin resume , to companies, either local or overseas,.. if you passed more than one interview , now you have the chance which would you prefer most...
when you got the job , dont expect higher pay at the start... it's then the time to show your very best in performing your work, promotion might be possible, and even if you did'nt promoted , you still gained of the experience you have in your work,...
there's always hope, if you try and try and try!
good luck !!!
Seekersans, I graduated 09/2007 at 25 years old. I first studied in one of the top 3 schools, graduated in what is one of the supposed bobo schools (they are wrong). I was a working student from 2004-2007. Total years in college is 7.5 years.
Now, I am a General Manager for a mid-level foreign corporation and is very tight with my bosses. They trust my judgment and capacity. I am heading their business developments in Manila while maintaining my functions in the homeland. Call it overachieving or being overpaid (not), but not even my batch/classmates from my first university can match the professional level I have attained today.
Just graduate. Academics will only be relevant for so long. Don't despair. I was in your shoes to some degree. The moment you quit is the moment you fail. Failure is an event, NEVER a person.

ANG UMAAYAW AY DI NAGWAWAGI AT ANG NAGWAWAGI AY DI UMAAYAW!
This old phrase is so true. Mind set lang yan, If you think tha you're a failure then you will be a failure. But if you put your mind into it and improve yourself for the next interview, matatanggap ka rin.
Wag maging mapili, basta decent and secured job, ok na to start.
and eto
pwede ka maging taxi driver (who earns at min 500/day 1800/day max)
pwede ka pa magaral ulit
---
and, wag ka mawalan ng pagasa..
Tama. Huwag kang susuko.
Hawak mo panahon mo, wala kang boss. Marami diyan business, kahit maliit na kapital kayang kaya mo lumago. PM me if you want to know about an option you can do for business.
Pare, the possibilities are endless. Don't despair.
yeah tama nga sila don't give up, bata ka pa. sana lang alam mo kung ano gusto mo sa buhay. if you could see it believe it.
start making small goals for yourself.
maraming entrepreneur di nakatapos ng college. unang naiisip ko lagi si bill gates but look at him now, isa na sya sa mga pinakamayaman at maimpluwensyang tao sa buong mundo.
Define your priority.
It all depends on your mindset. If you think that you're hopeless, then you'll be a hopeless case.
I stayed at college for 9 years. I graduated at 25. I started working in a call center at 24. It didn't stop me from working as an engineer right after graduation.
Look where I am right now.
But I have to be honest that it's a lot easier said than done. I've been there. I think the best thing for you to deal with it is to talk with your parents/relatives and have their support, maski moral support lang.
Share ko lang, at one point, I was very close at snapping.
You're still young bossing. Hindi imposible mag-aral habang nagtratrabaho. I've done it before. And I think that you can as well.
Good luck![]()
Gaya ng sabi ng marami dito, wag ka susuko kailangan mo magsipag nyan, madami working students dati na nagtiyaga at nakaluwag din nung naka graduate.so lets face it..im 27 no stable job and still 2nd year pa din...
can i still have a better future? is there hope...constant kasi ang age traps and discrimination dito sa pinas...
Kasi po first of all, the college Gates left was Harvard, not the community college that most of the people who cite his story are thinking of leaving or has dropped out from. He entered Harvard by scoring 1590 out of 1600 on his SAT--the man was, and still is, a genius. And he left harvard not because he can no longer afford or cannot keep up with the studies.
Nasa upper middle class ang family nya(his father was a prominent lawyer, his mother served on the board of directors for First Interstate BancSystem and the United Way) Kapag sinabing upper middle class ka malamang mas mayaman pa yun kesa sa karamihan satin dito na me bahay at kotse na.
Never naranasan ni Bill Gates magutom or makaramdam na hopeless sya.
Di **** kelangan graduate ka para maging sucessful. there are otherLEGAL ways hehehe.. pero ang tanong, bakit hanggang ngayon nasa college ka pa? baka naman may gnagawa kang hindi dapat? like itigil(hindi bawasan) ang gimik at sobrang kakasama sa mga barkada or di ka nag-coconcentrate sa studies mo. unless na financially unstable ka(oo mahirap kumuha scholarship), dapat may iba kang grave reason kung bakit nasa college ka pa at nag-aaralclassmates ko nung college ang sisiga, lakas mangasar. sila yung mga tipong pa-cute lagi, payosiyosi lang puro porma at gimik ngayon, after several years sa corporate world sila college pa din. lolx sila na lang naiwan sa batch namin hahaha
TS: anong 2nd year? 2nd year in college but still studying or 2nd year in college but stopped studying?
malaki pa pag-asa mo. tyagaan lang yan. try to finish college (kung hindi ka pa tapos) while working part time sa call center. pag nakatapos ka na, lipat ka na ulit.
