Naku kaya mo yan. May kilala ako from GenSan din, incoming 5th year na sya. Madami taga Mindanao dito sa PSU na katulad natin (assuming na dito ka na mag-aaral) na dayo para sa Petroleum Engineering.

Kayang kaya mo yan, wala ata bumabagsak sa entrance exam ng PSU, although dapat mas galingan mo para maka qualify sa 1st choice mo na course which is Petroleum Engineering.

Ako nag take ako ng exam last year between May 21 to 28. Di ko matandaan anong date exactly pero yan kasi un unang visit ko sa PSU tapos I went back to Manila after the exam.

By the way, may kamag-anak ka ba dito sa Puerto Princesa? Pano mo nalaman ang tungkol sa Pet Engg?

koryo, mag-cocollege ka pa lang ba? kasi kung magtatake ka pa lang ng admission sa psu, bibigyan kita ng hint sa mga scores namin para matimbang mo kung madali lang ba o hindi para ***.

@koryo: Anong field ba 'yung weakness mo? Math? English? Ako kasi, Math 'yung weakness ko. Yun yata yung pinakamababa ko sa admission test ng PSU. But I still got into the Petroleum Engineering program. Oh di ba.

Ang alam ko ang high school grades din magma-matter eh. Kaya dapat yung grades from first year to fourth year mataas din.

Para sakin, yung admission test ng PSU ay parang NCAE lang. Yung format, yung difficulty. Kebs lang. Kaya mo yan!

Yep, madaming second courser sa Petroleum Engineering eh. Ilan sa mga kakilala or naging kaklase ko ay CPA, Mechanical Engineer, Civil Engineer, BS Mathematics, BS IT, Architect at mga transferees from UST, Notre Dame University, UE, UPV, UPD, Mapua, Xavier University, Ateneo de Davao, TIP at iba pa. Yung top sa PSUCET mga taga Pisay naman, Pet Engg din. Nakakatuwa nga un community kasi halo halo na. Katulad nyan ni Panther at Koryo kung matutuloy sila sa program.

Wow. Good to know and find that there are PSU Petroleum Engineering students here.

I guess I should say that I'm really looking forward to begin studying at PSU this coming June (it's just a matter of days left!) under the - what else? - Petroleum Engineering program.

I'm based in Manila and will be enrolling as a transferee at PSU; I already took the admission test last month and thank God I was able to pass the test and qualified for Petroleum Engineering.

Really looking forward to meeting fellow Petroleum Engineering students when classes begin, and of course other students from Manila and elsewhere here in the Philippines who also opted to move to Palawan for the sake of the BSPE degree. Based on the previous posts here, I feel I can somehow already relate to you guys!
