Here are my favorite romantic-comedies:

Honey and Clover - IMO, this one has the most realistic love story and also the best slice-of-life, romcom series I've ever seen.

Lovely Complex - Rika x Otani - the all hanshin-kyojin !

Bokura Ga Ita - I agree that this anime is more on drama than comedy. Maraming heartbreaking scenes. I'm also hoping for season 2 but not expecting a happy ending .

School Rumble - the funniest for me, but the weak point of this anime is that, the relationships have no progress (except for Tenma x Karasuma in SR Sangakki).

Ranma 1/2 (especially the OVAs) - I just love how the two main characters bicker
Ranma to Akane: You're so uncute.
Akane to Ranma: Stupid Ranma! (Ranma no baka)

NANA - I'm not sure if it should be categorized as romcom. More on drama din (like Bokura Ga Ita) than comedy and the manga is still on-going (balita ko may sakit yung mangaka ). Most people who like H&C also like this anime because of the deep storyline.

I"S Pure OVA - the 6-episode series not the 2-part movie. Don't watch the movie . Although there are ecchi scenes, the anime is definitely worth watching. Plus it has a pleasant background music.

I Can Hear the Sea/Ocean Waves - a romantic comedy film by Studio Ghibli. Light lang yung story nito pero sobrang nagustuhan ko.

Tokyo Marble Chocolate - it's not an ice cream flavor. It's a 2-episode OVA (1st episode: girl's POV; 2nd episode: guy's POV) about a boy and girl who are both unlucky in love.

I just saw Nodame Cantabile (both seasons). Gyabo! Salamat sa lahat ng nagmention ng series na 'to. Domo arigatou gozaimasu . Sobrang nag-enjoy ako sa panonood. LOL at Nodame and Chiaki-sempai!

@Newbie_101: I suggest that you read the manga, hindi ka magsisisi. The anime is like 20% lang of the whole story. Maganda yung manga and gradually magshi-shift yung story to a more deeper and darker tone without losing it's RomCom qualities. The dark part is on Arima, i don't want to spoil you pero aabot pa siya Hanggang sa grown-ups na and may mga anak na. And hulaan mo kung sino makakatuluyan ni Asaba haha.

I haven’t read the manga but a friend told me that [spoiler start]one of Arima and Yukino’s children would end up with Hideaki. I was surprised because I thought Hideaki was gay.[spoiler end] Karekano is not really my favorite because I did not like Arima’s character. I liked Takefumi’s story, though.

Guess what? Nodame Cantabile Finale (Season 3) is out! It just started last week. Pero 11 episodes lang daw siya. As far as the 1st episode is concerned, so far so good.

Mas nakakairita character ni Arima sa latter parts ng manga haha. But really liked the story as a whole. Ako naman, i like the story arc of Tsubasa and Kasuma. cute lang kasi.

i've watched the live action versions of both nodame and H&C...sobrang nakakatawa din! at *** pairing talaga sa nodame (Juri & Tamaki) love na love ko *** chemistry nilang dalawa! wish ko talaga sila nalang din IRL haha! *** sa H&C live action lang, di ko masyado type *** portrayal ni Morita. parang medyo dramatic. hehe


*** KARE KANO sobra sumakit tiyan ko kakatawa! kaya lang....hindi ko natapos T_T...binawi kasi *** DVD eh! haha! ano ba katapusan non? nagkatuluyan din ba sila?

^Sa teacher-student romance, I like Gokusen, yung love story nina Yamaguchi-sensei at Shin. Kaya lang sa anime konti lang yung moments nila, unlike sa manga *squee*.

I got a DVD copy of Nodame live-action (series and special) but haven't seen it, yet. My sister told me that it was great, too.
