Best ROMANTIC-COMEDY Anime

Marami-rami na rin akong napanood in this genre (near 20)..
here's some that i really liked.

LOVELY COMPLEX - Funniest so far that i've seen and very popular sa iba't ibang anime threads and when I finally saw it, hindi na ako nagtaka kung bakit ang dami may gusto dito...

NODAME CANTABILE

HONEY and CLOVER

JUNJO ROMANTICA (warning..not for everyone)

SCHOOL RUMBLE (more on comedy talaga pero kakabagin ka sa kakatawa)

BOKURA GA ITA (anime not the manga kasi heavy drama na yung manga and it's dragging)

Right now i'm currently watching Nyan Koi! and Kimi ni Todoke pero i can't include them yet sa mga gusto ko since they are currently being aired by and hindi pa tapos but i'm really fond of them na especially Kimi ni Todoke

MAy suggestions ba kayo ng ibang ROm COm animes that I can watch? please post para ma try ko din.

I say Lovely Complex is the best rom-com anime I've watched. Everytime I see Risa and Otani on-screen (whether bickering at each other or being good friends that they are), I immediately felt the synergy between the two, that they were really meant for each other. Yes, Otani may be the densest person ever and Risa may be the most self-pitying person ever, but when it all comes to it, you know that it's going to be them, and all we needed to know is how they'll get there. And it has the best comedy thanks to the characters speaking in Kansai-ben, which really makes it funnier.

Next is Nodame Cantabile. Nodame may be a nutcase, but I can't help but root for her and laugh at her antics, and I can't hate Shinichi for being such an @ss at times, for that what makes his character really interesting. First season felt better when it came to the show, yet the second season felt so rushed. Here's to hoping that the finale will be great.

Lastly, Honey and Clover. Talk about a nice blend of comedy and seriousness that goes borderline emo sometimes, but you really feel for the characters (which all of them I liked). And it's funny that the characters you think will be together in the end did not end up together at all.

These shows are so good that I've rewatched LoveCom four times, Nodame twice and H&C three times.

As for suggestions, Itazura na Kiss is also a good title.

kung ga-guhan lang talaga maganda ang School Rumble, Cheeky Angel, Kimikiss Pure Rouge, Nyan Koi

Pag slice of life-comedy-romance walang tatalo sa KIMAGURE ORANGE ROAD at MAISOK IKKOKU. Period. Undisputed masters of romance and comedy yung dalawa

- wow pareho tayo ng taste sa fave RomComs. Pero i haven't repeated watching any of them. Hindi ko kasi ugali na panoorin ulit yung mga natapos ko na pero pag naubusan siguro ako ng papanoorin baka ulitin ko ulit coz they'reworth watching. About Itzura na kiss...there is this time kasi na pinagpilian ko kung Itzura or LovelyComplex and pinanood ko sila side by side ang gave each of them at least 10min. para tingnan kung ano ang magbibigay ng best impression sakin to watch between the 2. Hands down LoveCom won kaya yun na yung tinuloy ko. PEro one of these days baka i might give Itazura a try again.

-Kiagure Orange Road at Maison Ikkoku...na-browse ko na sila konti and nabasa ko na rin yung summary..mejo old na rin kaya hindi ko na pinanood pero I think it's good stuff since maison ikkoku and ranma 1/2 ay pareho ang gumawa. Pero ewan ko ba bakit di ko sila pinanood. Di ko lang siguro masyadong na-type-an.

-Yung lumang season ng AMG napanood ko. Maganda para sakin pero hindi ko na tinuloy kasi mas gusto ko sana yung walang fantasy. One day siguro baka panoorin ko yung new season.

Romantic comedy? Yep, there's Nodame Cantabile and Ranma 1/2.

Some people are mistaken on what a rom-com is.

For example, there's no romance in Haruhi, much more that it is not funny.

@mac3686: I did not include Bokura ga Ita because most of the time it's serious than funny. But I wouldn't say that I did not like it. I actually did. Except for the ending. I'm just wishing that the manga ends soon and a second season will be in order.

@dspr8 rugged: Sa totoo lang ang hirap mag-classify ng RomCom kasi relative na sa viewer kung more on romantic or comedy ang type nila. Yung school rumble nga (included in my list) is more of comedy talaga..mga 90% comedy 10% romance. About sa Bokura, sa anime mejo ma-comedy pa sya pero sa Manga ma-drama na and hindi ko na nga tinuloy yung pagbabasa nun kasi parang sila lang nagpapahirap sa mga sarili nila.

Nakalimutan ko yung KareKano haha. Ang ganda rin kaso bitin sa huli kasi iniwan na ng production nila and parang di tinapos.

@Newbie_101: I suggest that you read the manga, hindi ka magsisisi. The anime is like 20% lang of the whole story. Maganda yung manga and gradually magshi-shift yung story to a more deeper and darker tone without losing it's RomCom qualities. The dark part is on Arima, i don't want to spoil you pero aabot pa siya Hanggang sa grown-ups na and may mga anak na. And hulaan mo kung sino makakatuluyan ni Asaba haha.

special A is also good, gusto ko yung pagiging seloso ni Kei Takishima. Hindi ko type yung ugali ni Hikari..too typical na and boring. Maganda sya pero there are a lot better romcoms out there.

nice. that's the essence of this thread..para ma share sa iba yung mga magagandang animes. Ako rin kasi noon sa isang anime thread ko rin lang nalaman and na-convince the panoorin yung LoveCom. Hesitant pa nga ako nun kasi parang di ko feel na yung bidang lalaki e pandak tapos yung babae e mala-giraffe sa tangkad pero di ko pinagsisisihan na panoorin to. One of these days babasahin ko yung manga nya kasi mahaba yung story sa manga.
