Share ko lang.. nabasa ko earlier. This guy is trying to climb Everest on a single speed. A couple of years ago he decided to ride his bike to the North Pole, so he got a ticket to Amsterdam, rode his bike all the way to Norway, changed his mind when he got there and ended up in Bangkok (rode across 19 countries).
Na-amaze lang ako. Pero tingin ko di naman ako ma-iinlove sa bike ko ng todo that I will carry it up Everest. =)

looking for a ride buddy in toronto canada.
mga cyclemates mayroon pa bang available at affordable 650c tires and tubes locally?
obsolete na ata ang tire na ito sa Pilipinas,...
650c pa naman ang gamit ko.![]()
Yes, I thought about that too. I remember reading the comments to the article and there was some discussion about whether he was actually using a single speed or not. The author clarified that the bike has a derailleur and has multiple gears but none of the other gears were working.
Well, update, he reached the summit on the 21st of May but he wasn't allowed to take his bike. He had to be rescued on his way down. I reckon the whole thing is a bit silly. He can't even ride up or down. He was aware of this and was planning to CARRY his bike up.
Anyway, I need advice. I'm planning to change the tyres on my mountain bike to slicks. I want a faster ride. Any advice?
