Need Help po sa Cost Accounting (Tips)

Hi respected CPA, professors, reviewers, and students!

i need help po sa cost accounting. its the start of second sem and i want to focus as early as now to prepare myself sa exams. but the problem is, wala ako idea what is the best way to focus sa cost.

may ma-rerefer po ba kayo na book for cost accounting tsaka quizzer din po na may answer key? thanx!!

anyways for my class, since cost accounting in our school has been divided into cost 1 and cost 2, i am currently using the book of guerrero for discussion.

i supplement it with discussions from the books of carter and by barfield, raiburn and kinney.

likewise some exercises is bing provided from the cost accounting quizzer by gloria.

mahal po ba yung kay guerrero?
how bout po yung kay carter and the rest? international po yung mga yun db?
yung quizzer po mgkano din? san kaya ako makakabili nun?
baka sobrang kakapal ng mga books na yun at di ko na mabasa. hehe

Sa amin po eh Cost Accounting ni Carter as main text. And then, supplementary po na ginagamit for Cost Accounting 1 is yung book by Filamore.

how much po yung both books? same din po silang international?

I'm not so sure with the prices. Yung kay Carter kapag brand new is about Php 700. Filamore is a local author. Mura lang yung kanya - Php 100 or less.

Carter (international 14th ed) - 650 maglakad ka sa recto you can haggle i bought mine at 250

Raiborn / Kinney (international 6th ed) - same as Carter

Hermosila, salosagcol auditing theory (local) - 300 meron 180

Practical accounting 2 Dayag (local) - 250

You might want to try Cost Accounting by Norma de Leon, maganda ang build-up ng exercises & problems sa book na ito, from easy to difficult.

yap.. tama si sir larry.. try mo sir yung cost accounting book by norma de leon.. maganda yung lectures lalo na ang mga problems.. mapapaisip ka.. medyo tricky yung iba.. madami ka matututunan and mareretain na lessons dun.. di ko alam kung may bagong ed yun.. yung sakin kasi kulay yung kulay blue pa.. pinagpasa-pasahan lang ng generation.. hehe..try mo din cost accounting by guerrero..just keep on solving lang! hehe..
