Cignal TV is a new satellite TV service (parang dream). Their fees look reasonable. Meron bang subscribers dito? Any feedback? Thanks.

i know... they have 5 hd channels, too!

^^^ up
feedback on this please...
i know one person who I think subscribed to cignal tv.
ask the owner of this website www.unlitv.net, they have a chatroom there.
Prices did seem reasonable. Kaso ang konti ng channels. 29 maximum. But that History Channel HD looks very tempting!
gusto ko sanang magpakabit for my lcd tv.
We've been a subscriber for our provincial home since July 2009. So i don't think this is a new service. previously, we've been with Dream for 6 years. Cignal Plan 390 kami, meaning SD (standard definition) lang, no HD. This is good lang talaga for the province where a local cable company service sucks big time. Channels in Cignal are better in terms of picture quality kesa sa Dream. Maybe because their sat dish is bigger(cignal). pero madalas mawala ang sound for ilang seconds sa Cignal esp. kung mahangin ang panahon. ang mahirap is if you are in Cignal Prepaid, kasi your payment is going to be processed for 3 days max. even the FTV Channel 5 is not really free. meron black bar/window sa screen, pag wala ka load. unlike sa dream, pag wala kang load, FTV channels are open.
Finally i had my cignal satellite set installed yesterday.
P 5,170 prepaid free 3 months (390 monthly) SD package
and here are my initial observation for each channel.
ABS-CBN 2- average clear, dead colors, little hazy
NBN 4- average clear, dead colors, little hazy
TV5 - clear, little hazy, doesn't fit screen with about 1cm vertical black line on right side
GMA 7- average clear, dead colors
Solar TV 9- average clear, little hazy, dead colors
QTV11 - average clear, little hazy, dead colors
IBC 13- antennae like quality
ETC21- clear dead colors, pixelated on very fast picture movements
Studio 23- average clear, dead colors, little hazy
Net25- clear
2nd Ave. 29- clear
RHTV 30- TOINKZ poor
CNN 31- very very clear picture quality and sounds
Cartoon Net 32- clear
Disney Ch 33- very very clear picture quality and sounds
Bio Ch 34- very very clear picture quality and sounds
BTV 35- clear, little hazy, pixelated on fast picture movements
HBO 36- clear, little hazy, doesn't fit screen with about 1cm vertical and horizontal black line on top and right side
Viva Ch 38- clear, hazy, dead colors
PBO 39- Thumbs down poor (maybe because they are old movies)
AXN 40- clear
ESPN 41- clear, dead colors
STAR Sports 42- very clear picture quality and sounds
viewing distance is about two meters on a sharp aquos 32" lcd
Summary: Free to air channels are not that clear like those cable channels. But slightly better than those local analog cable providers.
there should be at least one music channel and nat geo or discovery.
ESPN and Star Sports will be removed on feb 28.
A little bit disappointed i was expecting more.
^sir bat may lock-in yung prepaid for 24 months? Meaning parang magbabayad ka parin monthly??
Did you heard the News? That Cignal HD will Launched 2 HD Channels Discovery HD and Probably ESPN HD, I don't know if this is true but are there plans for more SD channels rather than HD Channels this year?
discovery hd is crap.
i have it, and i don't watch it.
history hd ang pinapanood ko.
from sky hd, btw.
also they launched 3 more channels. kaso 300 pesos more. what the hell.
nat geo hd, star movies, and fox crime hds.
(sky)
so
HBO, DIscovery, and History HD ang first 3
then
star movies, nat geo, and fox crime ang next 3.
yung uaap/ ncaa is 1500 pesos - what a load of bull crap.
world cup was 1500 as well.
How's the NBA Premium HD Channel? Is it good with Cignal?
http://www.cignal.tv/index.php?page=subscription
^^ magkano monthly pag two tvs?
I want to subcribe to Cignal too..pero konti parin yung channels nila.. Sky Cable has upgraded its channels too, meron na din HD too bad hindi na nag ooperate ang Sky dito sa area namin.. Sana mag add pa sila ng channels sa plan 590..
