I get my green tea from Starbucks. I buy a box of the Zen Green Tea. Good for 1 month for me. Each box has 24 tea bags. Somehow I really like the taste.

oh **** yeah. there's only one place that serves tea that i've been too it's a japanese restaurant, very old and very popular in my hometown in Hawai'i. They use slightly smashed calrose rice. it's so good just smelling it.

Saan nakakabili sa Metro Manila ng loose black tea leaves? I know a lot of Chinese shops in Binondo sell them, but that area is just too far for me. May nabibili bang ganito sa supermarkets? And what brand(s) can you recommend?

When I was in Xiamen, my colleagues and I were able to sample a kind of tea that was made from what looked like a dried-up flower bud. One drinks/sips the tea just like any other except that it had to be chased by a sip of water. At first we didn't know what the water was for. Turns out a sip of water releases a burst of sweet taste inside the mouth. It was a very pleasant sensation.

The thing is, nobody among us was able to get the name of that kind of tea. Sayang!

Dried-up flower bud, sweet taste... Silver needle? Did the flowers have whitish fuzz on 'em? (haha... it's not much of an identifier, though) Are you sure they were flower buds and not leaf buds?

Kung silver needle tea nga, swerte mo. It's one of the best teas in the world.

Ako adik sa tsaa... 3 cups a day at the very least. Pero Lipton lang. Panregalo lang yung TeaGschwendner.

Does Banaba, Sambong and Pito Pito herbal teas count?

I drink those regularly although not my favorite tea and will never be because of its bitter disgusting taste, it is really effective in detoxifying your body, lowering blood pressure and sugar and aids in loosing weight. Oh and cheap.
