Hi peeps I've been to a lot of weddings lately and I notice that it is quite important to have a wedding coordinator. I am too planning my wedding and I may say that I am very particular with the things I want to happen for my wedding. I even dreamed how my wedding be like....

Help lang po... Do you know good/best coordinators in Metro Manila? Mas makakatulong din po, if you can share your experience with that coordinator... and also I would like to know the worst coordinator, at baket sila naging worst or bad na coordinator.

try to inquire on this wedding coordinator he's actually from pampanga...we tried his sense of responsibility on handling an event though not a wedding event specifically but i can assure you he's responsible enough..he's hands on to every event he'd organized and i think he could go anywhere coz our previous event was held here in south korea...and he's a couturier too

Medyo bad feedback kay Thoffy Consulta, iniwan yung couple on the wedding day, nagulo tuloy yung entourage and reception program, days after there wasn't even an apology, hope it doesn't happen to other couples out there.

I just had my wedding last Feb 21, 2012. I had the best suppliers EXCEPT for my on the day wedding coordinator which is TIE THE KNOT WEDDING SPECIALIST... The owner is a young lady named Joanna Rumohr. She and her staff were running like a headless chicken during my wedding. The ceremony starts at 3:45 at San Agustin Church and they ARRIVED EXTREMELY LATE at 1:00pm in the hotel room when they SHOULD be in the hotel room at 9:00am for all the preps. I became bride/on the day coordinator with all the suppliers inside my hotel room. IT WAS HELL!!!!!

I booked all my suppliers a year before except for my on the day wedding coordinator because I had a hard time looking for a decent one as I know how events go. TIE THE KNOT WEDDING SPECIALIST by Joanna Rumohr got me with their freebies like free mannequin for the bride and groom, free escort cards ---which is not really brilliant as they just leave it there and don't tell guests what's it for, free digital frame --- which showed pictures of a debutant and not our pictures (FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!) During reception, they just go and PESTER me like It's not my wedding asking me stuff that they SHOULD be taking action on. It was my mistake of getting them.. I was running out of time and just got what's available.

They are ok to talk to and can lure you to get them and promise you the stars and moon and even the whole universe BUT work wise, THEY ARE NOT CAPABLE OF HANDLING AN EVENT. They are NOT SPECIALIST as what they call themselves. They did not go the extra mile to meet me and finalize things with me days or event a day before my wedding!!!!! They only do what is convenient to them. They will show you tons of boo-boos on your wedding day. At the reception, they gather down the lobby like there is a special meeting there that we don't know... they were no where to be found doing their job. I wasted 22k for that and I SO REGRET IT.

I just want to warn you all about it as I don't want you to have the same bad experience. You will only get married once! Make the right decisions! Do a background check of ALL your suppliers. Get the ones that have been in the industry for awhile unless you really know them and you can trust them. I didn't do a background check on TIE THE KNOT WEDDING SPECIALIST by Joanna Rumohr and again, it was my WORST mistake getting them as an on the day wedding coordinator supplier.

Planning for our wedding was the one thing i took pride on but unfortunately it took a team of coordinators that call themselves experts to ruin my year long planning. We provided all the details to them and even created an idiot board so they can just simply follow the steps and execute. But they were just busy bodies that accomplished nothing but ruined everything. All my hardwork was down the drain on my wedding day. Our guests were also furious on their incompetence which was so obvious during the whole event. One of my guests said they didn't know what they were doing. A couple of weeks to the date i noticed the problem but overlooked them. My other suppliers had issues with them because they converse rudely. They over invited guests since they were assigned in the RSVP which caused us more than 60K! And during the event, they just sat at the registration table and left us from the beginning of the ceremony until the end of the event. They were like guests during my wedding. Such a heartbreak, such a disappointment. My mom even overheard them backstabbing me

Hello there, I just wanna share my perfect and stress-free wedding coordinated by Wedding Royale Coordinators. Good for you. Ako, bad ang experience sa kanila. Kinuha ko silang OTD dahil nakita ko itong comment na to at medyo affordable din. 10k OTD may kasama pang emcee. Check out their facebook account na may oceana wedding. Hindi man lang nakikipag coordinate days before the wedding..hirap pang makontak at unresponsive sa emails..the night before the wedding, naka check-in kami sa hotel H2O..sabihin ba naman na wala silang manequin na gagamitin for the wedding day..magtanonng saw sa hotel''nung sinabi naming walang mai provide ang hotel, meron daw silang nahanap 500 ang rent, ok fine. Start ng wedding 4pm..dumating sila mag 11:30am na..naunahan pa ng bulaklak at ng mga photographers. Ang resulta.. ako yung naging parang coordinator nung umpisa..medyo malayo pa naman ang mga rooms namin at ng parents ko..12:30 pm tumawag yung nag dedesign para sa ceremony hinahanap yung wedding coordinator..vinerify ko sa kanila sabi nila kanina pa raw may tao dun. 1pm, may nagpaalam sa aking isang tao nila na pupunta daw sa venue..FTW!! Not to mention, Jaycee Uy was nowhere to be found. Nakatunganga lang sila ni hindi man lang inaassist ang wife ko..ni hindi ma lang buksan ang pinto pag may kumakatok..yung isa nakisakay pa sa bridal car!!! Pagdating sa venue..walang coordination..nag retouch ang wife ko after ng ceremony ni hindi man lang nila tiningnan kung ready na bigla n lang tinawag ang entourage na hindi pa lumalabas ang wife ko..nagkaroon tuloy ng dull moments dahil ilang ulit kaming tinatwag na 2 walang lumalabas!! ni wala ring nag check ng guest list..lahat pwedeng pumasok buti na lang nag pasobra kami ng 10 pax. at may buffer na 10%..yung seating arrangement hindi rin nasunod yung mga parents ko tuloy hindi nakaupo sa VIP seats!!!yung mga regalo iniwan sa labas hindi man lang pinasok sa loob hindi tuloy namin alam kung may nawala!!! The worst thing is..yung pamimigay ng souvenir..ang daming natira, may 4 na sponsors na hindi nabigyan at nainigay sa iba..ang ok lang talaga is yung emcee..ang tingin ko is may kasabay kaming ibang event na hinahandle nila kaya di nila kami natutukan..si Jaycee Uy, nakita ko almost patapos na yung ceremony..I will definitely NOT RECOMMEND WEDDING ROYALE!!!

Tips sa mga ikinakasal: Ang wedding coordinator dapat ang the best supplier nyo kaya yung pinakamahal ang kunin nyo at yung pinakasikat!! yung mga inaalagaang reputation...baka pagsisihan nyo yan sa bandang huli..

I've had a bad experience with What Women Want Events as my On The Day Coordinator (Jhai Valenzuela, Anna Camille Sicat Acierto & Aster Sarah Mendoza-Domingo) mismo un photographer na nmin ang nagsabi na dpat wala sila sa ganitong business kc ndi sila marunong mag-handle ng event.... sa church during pictorial wala man lang kahit isang coordinator nag-assist at un isang coordinator ko na ina-sign skin na "alalay" ko daw eh nkatunganga lang at mnsan un photograper o kaya un groom ko pa ang humahawak ng trail ko. Tpos un bngay nila skin na emcee na ksma sa package 2days before the wedding ngkron ng Laryngitis kaya we nid to luk for one pa at kami pa mismo nghanap... during the reception un mga coordinators ko prang mga guest lang ...un entourage ko bglang pinapsok nila eh ang usapan sasayaw pa un isa isa, tpos un guestbuk na ipapa-sign dpat sa mga principal sponsor meron dun sign kahit bisita lang.. Un program palpak din kc ndi na nkpag message un parents nmin Bestman at MOH kc ndi nbgyan ng que un acoustic band, so ang akala ng ibang guest tapos na un program, kaya mrami nrin nag-uwian ....ang usapan 4 lang un coordinator pero pagdating dun 5 sila, tpos un isa wlang gnwa kundi mag ipad... un registration nmin sa reception prang naging enrolment, un mga guest pa mismo naghanap ng names nila at wlang gnwa un mga coordinator kundi panuorin un mga guest ko maghanp ng names nila

I will definitely NOT RECOMMEND What Women Want Events!!

Nung nag proposed yung asawa ko sakin i immediately hire a Wedding Coordinator, I checked all the comments at reviews bago ako nakipag meet. October 19, officially naihire ko ang Events and concepts by voltaire zalamea hoping na maging smooth ang aking preps. and inagahan ko talaga para makakuha kami ng mas magandang deals sa mga suppliers. Unfortunately ang sabi nia sa akin by february na kami magstart mag inquire ng supplier kasi hindi daw kami ieentertain dahil peak season which is pinaniwalaan ko naman dahil nagtiwala ako, oh by the way my wedding is in subic kaya medyo mabusisi sia.... so here comes the february wala pa din sia say so i decided na itry mag inquire nakuha ko ang imagine nation, naisip ko pwede naman pala.... ang ginawa ko lahat ng kaya ko ibook na, binayaran ko na para maavail ko yung mga rates nila ng mas mababa... lumipas *** days months nagtatanong lang ako sa kanya and hindi man siya na bother kung anu na nangyayari sa preps ko, full coordination pa man din ang inavail ko....

nung nag anounce sia na may US tour sila, nagtxt ako sa kanya na baka pwede kami mag meet kasi feeling ko ilang months ka mawawala parang nadaya naman ako sa bayad ko...full coordination pero parang ako mag isa yung gumawa ng trabaho nia... so we did, nag meet kami para sa kulang ko na lang that time na florist and cake nagawa ko na lahat. hindi din kami magkasundo ng florist nia kasi i asked for a package pero my sinasabi na libre ang backdrop. So naisip ko paano magiging libre ang backdrop eh package ang kinukuha ko magbabayad ako. so hindi ko na kinuha yung down ko sa kanya. before i left from singapore nag request ulit ako ng meeting with voltaire hoping na may masabi na sia sa akin na plano or suggestions or whatever that was 4months prior to my wedding na lang. wala sia masabi sa akin na program ang sabi nia lang is masyado pa maaga para sa program magbabago pa yan....

worst wala akong fitting pa, nagkakaproblema ako sa kinuha ko na designer pero that doesnt mean na iiwanan nia ako sa ere, ang nangyari nung kinonfront ko sia napaki asikaso si ganito ginawa naman nia pero hindi nia nainsist na magkaron ng fitting agad agad...

nagdecide kami ng fiance ko na kumuha na kami ng bagong coordinator,La belle Fete weddings and events, 2 months before ang wedding na lang ang natitira sa amin pero parang wala pang naayos... with Ycoy, in just two weeks nakapagfitting kami... naayos namin ang flowers, nakapag conceptualize na kami. nabooked na lahat ng hindi pa naayos..nafollow up lahat ng suppliers naayos yung entourage, nakapagpaprint na kami ng invitation na dapat matagal na palang ginawa. nakapag foodtasting kami and all.... super thankful, napaka smooth napaka gaan ng mismong wedding ko napaka ganda ng outcome... inembrace kami ni ycoy as if parang relative nia kami na kailangan mabigyan kami ng magandang kasal... i was so happy that time lahat ng guests ko sinasabi how beautiful my wedding was

Not all.... and may mga suppliers talaga na after lang sa money mo na ibabayad sa kanila pero hindi nila ibibigay ang buong puso nila para lang maging memorable ang kasal natin. I hired a coordinator just for one reason para magkaroon ako ng smooth and organize n kasal pero though kahit may budget hindi ka makakabili ng tamang tao para rito kailangan maging maingat... hindi porke coordinator yung gusto nila or nakatrabaho nilang suppliers ang dapat nila iinsist gaya ng ginawa ni Voltaire, we have the ryt to choose simply because ako ang magbabayad... ang ang mga bride parang baby yan dapat inaalalayan kasi ang bata pag nauntog hindi mo naman kinakagalitan o pinapalo bigla ituturo mo yung tama sa kanya.... minsan lang kami ikinakasal at ikakasal so bago kami sa mundo ng mga suppliers and all so konting gabay.... in everything that we do kailangan may love na kasama... kasi hindi mo mailalabas ang best mo if wala ka maisheshare na galing sa iyo.

what made me feel so angry nagbayad na ako ng half and hindi ko na nakuha simply because ganid sia sa pera... 28,000 is 28,000 and all of us worked for it... its a hard earned money... so ano maitatawag ko kay [B]VOLTAIRE ZALAMEA NG EVENTS AND CONCEPT, ISA SILANG MAGNANAKAW SO BEWARE. hindi nila deserve ang pera dahil in almost a year na preps ko 3-4 meetings lang tau nagkita and lahat yung request ko.... and dapat yun unlimited meet ups. so wag na lang manwala agad agad sa mga kagaya nitong Voltaire Zalamea kasi namemera lang sila

All I can say is that everything that she has mentioned above were already discussed through letters sent through our respective lawyers during the past months.

Fact is, she signed a contract with us and it is stipulated in the contract that in the event that there is a cancellation of service by the CLIENT, any down payment made will not be refundable. It is very clear in BLACK AND WHITE.

It was very confusing also on my part, when she informed me that she was cancelling our services, she wrote this apology in her emailed cover letter, "sorry Voltaire, pero nakialam na kasi mga parents (with a sad face emoticon)". But in the attached letter to this same email, she was cancelling our service contract, asking for a refund and accusing me of not doing anything for her wedding preparation, which is not true.

Please take note Pungay that "MAGNANAKAW" is a very strong accusation. I HAVE PRINTED AND SAVED the post you made in this forum. Take note too that whatever you have written here can be used against you in the court of law. ( this made me appreciate the Cyber Crime Law better )

I am Voltaire Zalamea of Events and Concepts, the person referred to in this post by April Santos. a.k.a pungay18.

All I can say is that everything that she has mentioned above were already discussed through letters sent through our respective lawyers during the past months.

Fact is, she signed a contract with us and it is stipulated in the contract that in the event that there is a cancellation of service by the CLIENT, any down payment made will not be refundable. It is very clear in BLACK AND WHITE.

Events and Concepts has been in the wedding planning business SINCE 1999 and our team has organized hundreds or even more than a thousand weddings since we started and I can proudly say that we never had any major problems with any of our clients.

Nobody owns the internet. Not a single country can control what the internet has to offer. Nobody has the right to claim the internet is on their side. Nobody has the right to silence an angry bride.

Never try to hide behind a stupid Philippine law. You might find yourself getting shot because Cyber Crime Law has so many loopholes.

What you just said convinces us that you are a scammer! Very defensive.

tama ka ayamdelicious. Parang hindi professional si Mr. Voltaire Zalamea para sabihan ang client niya ng ganyan. May reason ang client mo na magalit sa iyo lalo ganyan ang attitude mo. Parang nakakapagtaka na nakuhanan mo na sila ng pera, ikaw pa yung parang galit. Parang hindi naman niya yata tama.

Just imagine yung hussle at dilemma nung bride nung time na hindi mo naasikaso yung mga dapat na trabaho mo. Binayaran ka niya para doon tapos wala ka nagawa at nagsasalita ka pa ng ganyan ano naman ang gusto mo maramdaman naming mga bride to be matuwa sa mga kagaya mo?!

To think na walang fitting, wala kang naayos kahit man lang concept niya, Hindi mo naayos kahit man lang yung invitation niya parang QUESTIONABLE ka ata talaga. Hindi masama ipagtanggol sarili mo pero yung idrag mo pa yung name nung tao para kang hindi professional. wala pa ako na meet na taong gaya mo na hindi ka man lang sure kung iyang pungay18 nga na yan yung sinasabi mo.

Mga brides, mag ingat tayo sa mga taong ganito na gaya ni (B)Voltaire Zalamea parang nakakatakot. Hindi lang wedding natin ang kaya niya sirain kundi tayo mismo na possibleng maging client niya.
