Pls do help my friend. People have told him over and over: he has a good family, he has a good singing voice, he has many other talents, he is intelligent, he's responsible and studious. May itsura siya, many many people say. He's also working out at the gym. He's also a christian and described to be kind.

But he has a problem......

He's envious of Piolo Pascual and Sam Milby. He thinks that it's really very unfair that these two seem to have the best of everything. Both of them have almost everything.

Also, he has this dream.....His dream is to be a heartthrob. There was a time when three women told him he's a "heartthrob". Another lady told his mom (they're close) that "maraming nagkakagusto sa kanya" referring to him in this girl's dorm that he used to frequent (he was a band member playing in their functions). One time in a camp, he received three letters of admiration from three girls. A stranger also approached him and asked him casual questions like why he was studying in those three places and tried to befriend him, indicating that the person seemed to have stalked him. Many times friends and he himself catches some women and gays looking at him, especially if he's "nakajaporms". Testimonials in friendster say he has a lot of "fans". He was nominated to represent his batch for this mr. college. I could go on and on stating all the evidence of how he's admired. But he does not really believe that he is a hearthrob. Deep inside he wants to believe that he has fulfilled and reached this dream, but he still does not want to believe it, because he feels he's not that hot, and because only very few girls told him they have a crush on him or something.

Basically, he has wanted to be a heartthrob because he had a friend back in 1st year college who was chased by many girls. And he envied his buddy's popularity. That's the root cause.

So he needs help. Please help my friend by giving him advice.
Is it normal that he's envious of Piolo Pascual and Sam Milby? I mean, he's not envious of them all the time, but he is whenever he hears about or sees them on tv.
