    Laundry Service

I hope you guys could recommend a place that offers good laundry services in Quezon City. I'm actually near Trinoma and SM North.

I badly need to have my clothes washed because: (1) I don't have any clean clothes I could wear to work; (2) my washing machine was damaged because of the floodwaters caused by Ondoy; and (3) I don't know how to do handwashing.

Btw, I know others might find this improper, but I also need to have my undergarments sent to the laundry shop. Is this possible? Believe me, I tried handwashing them a couple of times, but I wasn't successful.

Anyway, I hope you could also post how much they charge per kilo.

If you know of other good laundry services provided outside of QC, please let me know as well. This will be my first time to avail of such service, if ever.

    Thanks in advance.

for your undies I suggest na i hand wash mo lang sya. wash 1x with soap and water. then ibabad mo sa soap and water and lysol (just read instruction at the back of the label), effective sya for removing yung amoy na mabaho.

  3. #3
after a couple of hours or overnight na pagbabad sabuhin mo sya ng 2x para siguradong wala ng amoy.

meron naman siguro laundry shop jan malapit sa inyo, andami dami ng ganyan ngayon. and yes, you can just dump all your stuff in a bag and let them sort and wash them.

it's better to look around near your place so it's convenient for you to just drop and pick them up. some offer free pick up and delivery as well.

my laundry shop is just a text away, they'd just come to my place to pick up/deliver my laundry.

I've tried out two laundry shops so far, and I was disappointed with both. Medyo masangsang yung amoy ng damit. Will try out others pa.

Aba, kung mula noong Ondoy up to now di mo pa resolve, talagang masangsang yan.

    Lol! She's joking, isn't she.

If you can survive with soiled undies, we cannot survive you.

Don't fret. I've finally learned to handwash my undergarments since after Ondoy.

pwede ba ipa dry clean ang white canvas mix with leather shoes? in my experience kasi, yung canvas nung mga dati kong nilalabhan na mga same type of shoes, nagiging gray katagalan, tapos yung leather narurupok.. anyone ever tried?

Nope. Pero 'yung mababang area ng Heroes Hill in Roosevelt QC (where our family house is) ay na-Ondoy. I was hoping na merong laundry shop sa SM/Trinoma area kasi malapit lang din sa family house namin yun, at lalo na sa isang house namin sa Project 7.

Taga-tabing creek, more like. Actually, nasa other side 'yung creek, pero inabot kami. We've learned our lesson and have since moved our important stuff to our house in Project 7.

First time 'yun.

I do my grocery-shopping in SM Supermarket, Landmark, at minsan sa WalterMart.

Anyway, para hindi naman off-topic, I'm quite happy with the laundry services of Wash N Wear. But I'm hoping to find a good laundry shop that picks up and delivers the clothes.

    resurrecting old thread..

just want to warn people looking for laundry service to stay away from LAUNDRY BEST (aquabest sister company) worst laundry shop i ever encountered, IMHO they use inferior washing machines that cause damaged clothes.

they wont even accept fault and wont pay single centavo for the damaged items..

forget the pick up and delivery service, not worth it!

    hope this helps.

    recommendation:
there are lots of laundry shop that has been in existence for quite some time na din.. try Metropole
