Just a "normal" episode but as I've said before, their "okay" episodes are still solid, and sometimes much better than good episodes of other shows.

"Our daughter might go to college" was hilarious!

Loved the scenes of Gloria.

Agree. It's a normal episode which is, more often than not, waaay better than the best/funniest one of the other existing comedies. Fact.

Haley's getting these funny/heartwarming scenes lately. Still loving that still-daddy's-little-girl scene with Phil from an episode or two back. Now, this one with Claire.

- Agree with you all. The Phil-Alex storyline was heartwarming. I love Phil so much. (not obvious with my avatar)
- I totally laughed so hard at Jay and Cam's father imitating the laughs of their sons. I thought of Jay's scaring the bad spirit out of the chicken moment again.
- at Manny as Haley's Uncle, which is true naman. And Manny being the uncle as he is.

Anyways, resident Dunphytard here to tell you that Ty Burrell won in the 2012 Comedy Awards for Best Performance by an Actor. Modern Family was beaten by Parks and Rec sa Best Comedy Series, but MF already won last year. Oks lang.

Watched again one of my favorite episodes, Manny's Birthday. Phil Dunphy is sooo like Dad.

Congrats Ty Burrell for another well-deserved win.

Now watching Parrot?! What Parrot?! episode. lol Sofia Vergara is excruciatingly fun.

The episode was just ok.

- Claire: "I did cartwheels." Phil: "Without me?"
- Phil: "I'd rather take her for a spin. See what she can do" (mistakenly points at the car saleswoman)

The episode was just okay I think because the first half was... MEH. I was so worried and I was wondering - oh my, is this the first sucky episode of Modern Family??? But the episode rallied, and the second half had the usual Modern Family brilliance. That beach scene was another example of how the show can something both funny and heartwarming at the same time.

Another high point - riding in the takatakatakataka!
