Agree. It's a normal episode which is, more often than not, waaay better than the best/funniest one of the other existing comedies. Fact.
JAY: "I'll just put it in. You don't have to do anything... OK, I shouldn't have said that"
That Sandy Bullock retort.
Haley's getting these funny/heartwarming scenes lately. Still loving that still-daddy's-little-girl scene with Phil from an episode or two back. Now, this one with Claire.![]()
after being hilarious last episode, they had to kill walter off
that made me sad![]()
Just seen last week's episode. Really loved the Haley-Claire scene in the end. And yes Phil was so funny with "My daughter might go to college" line.
- natuwa ako sa Phil-Alex moment. especially the last scene.napa awwww ako.
- Claire's smile creeps me out. yung sinabi na na wala na si Walter.![]()
Favorite ko yung Phil-Alex story line sa episode 20. Mas maganda sana kung pinakita din yung pagkadulas ng pregnant waitress.
- Agree with you all. The Phil-Alex storyline was heartwarming.I love Phil so much. (not obvious with my avatar)
- I totally laughed so hard at Jay and Cam's father imitating the laughs of their sons. I thought of Jay's scaring the bad spirit out of the chicken moment again.
-at Manny as Haley's Uncle, which is true naman. And Manny being the uncle as he is.
- Creepy nga yung smile ni Claire.
^ true, pang Emmy tape ni Ed yun ang galing ng scene na yunI actually like the Jay-Mitch-Cam-Cam's Dad story line

Uncle Manny! LOL @ Gloria with the mixed messages. Hilarious!
Love, love, love how this show is both heartwarming and funny at the same time. LOVE.
I just found this earlier. Gloria is really hilarious. And the rest of 'em as well. One of my favorite sitcoms.

Yah. That clip. Grabe, di ko mapigil tawa ako sa "the finger, one finger, the sky... CLOUDY WITH THE CHANCE OF THE MEATBALLS!"
Anyways, resident Dunphytard here to tell you that Ty Burrell won in the 2012 Comedy Awards for Best Performance by an Actor. Modern Family was beaten by Parks and Rec sa Best Comedy Series, but MF already won last year. Oks lang.
I was suppose to post the same vid. Haha. Mas lalo yung brokeback thing ni Cameron and Mitchell. Lol. Sofia Vergara is one funny gal. Meatballs!![]()
2012 Comedy Awards
PERFORMANCE BY AN ACTOR - TV
Alec Baldwin for "30 Rock"
WINNER: Ty Burrell for "Modern Family"
Louis C.K. for "Louie"
Steve Carell for "The Office"
Larry David for "Curb Your Enthusiasm"
Watched again one of my favorite episodes, Manny's Birthday. Phil Dunphy is sooo like Dad.
Congrats Ty Burrell for another well-deserved win.
Now watching Parrot?! What Parrot?! episode. lol Sofia Vergara is excruciatingly fun.
^
Manny Get Your Gun. And the parrot episode is Unplugged.
Yeah! I still know all the titles to the episodes. It gets hard when the seasons pass.
The episode was just ok.
Cents:
- Claire: "I did cartwheels." Phil: "Without me?"![]()
- Phil: "I'd rather take her for a spin. See what she can do" (mistakenly points at the car saleswoman)
- Gloria riding the tukutukutukutuku.
The episode was just okay I think because the first half was... MEH. I was so worried and I was wondering - oh my, is this the first sucky episode of Modern Family??? But the episode rallied, and the second half had the usual Modern Family brilliance. That beach scene was another example of how the show can something both funny and heartwarming at the same time.
Another high point - riding in the takatakatakataka!
I'm loving the scenes with Phil and his kids. The van scene with Haley, Alex and Luke were great.
