In contrast, the same BPI card was also made available to the bank's clients without the guarantee requirements. For those customers, the smallest credit limit was P5,000.

Gotta love that bank.

Our own explanation was the bank did not pay its officers well enough for them to qualify for the bank's own strict credit standards. Hence, the smaller credit limits.

What is ironic was that we were all asked to promote the new card by using it as much as possible, especially in the presence of non-cardholders. This was a little hard to do with a small credit limit.

When I left the bank two years later, my credit limit was raised to P10,000.

My first card was a Citibank Shell Mastercard which had a credit limit of 20,000 php. This was back in 2001. I was lured by the rebates for using Shell fuels and Shell services. I even received free 800 php worth of Shell fuels for being approved.

My first card was BDO Gold 100k CL. Did not even apply for it. Second card Citibank Shell Gold 120K CL. Sa agent lang sa MOA ako nag-apply.

RCBC Black Card Platinum. Kaso supplementary lang. Gusto ko sana sa BPI kaya lang ayaw nilang i-approve yung credit card kahit na nasa kanila lahat ng savings accounts ko! It's probably due to the nature of my job (no chance to be regularized, but pay is good).

PNB credit card when they issued their first credit card in the 90's. No documents required, our officemate whose husband worked for PNB just passed our names. 10K yung CL.

I cancel this credit card a long time ago, ang baba kasi ng CL ayaw naman mag-upgrade.

Mine was an HSBC Classic Mastercard. 19K credit limit, which was already nice given that I was just on my first month with my current employer when I applied.

First card was supplementary one from my aunt. BPI Blue Mastercard CL:30k
First principal card Metrobank Classic 100k.
I got a BDO Titanium last week, didn't even apply for it though I have a time deposit with them. Gusto ata nila akong ibaon sa utang para mapilitan akong ibayad yun sa kanila.
