First CC was a supplementary Card from my Dad (was just 14y/o then) from Citibank, it was i think 1996 the CL was of course already much because it was just a supplementary card.

As a principal, Metrobank card (unicard pa ata tawag nun). It was issued 2001 ata. CL 30k

As supplementary: BPI Classic, when I was 14 too. Forgot the shared credit limit. Back when they would still use the carbonized paper receipts and that, uhm, roller thing.

As principal: BPI Blue Mastercard, pre-approved. 80k CL.

My first ever was an extension from my parents in the late 80's. My first as prinicipal I think was with FEBTC (Far East Bank) 30k CL in 1990 (more or less).

I was a BPI officer when the bank introdued its BPI Express Credit Card in the late 80s. The bank issued me a card with a credit limit of P3,000. It needed to be guaranteed by two other BPI officers.

In contrast, the same BPI card was also made available to the bank's clients without the guarantee requirements. For those customers, the smallest credit limit was P5,000.

Gotta love that bank.

Bankard when it was still owned by PCI.
Then I got a Citibank card which gave me around P25K limit.

The Landmark Credit Card. Credit Limit of 2000 that was back in the early 90s.

Noong nagwork na ako nagka credit card ako noong 2nd job ko, that was year 2001. It's a Citibank Visa Classic Silver.
