Hi loco! Just want to know kung may opening kayo for another Web Designer? Baka need nyo kc iisa ka lang dyan sabi mo. I applied dati dyan sa Gameloft. Passed the exam and interview pero for Submission Specialist. Si Ms. Chris Ann yung contact person ko dyan.

You think pwede ka suggest sa boss mo to lessen your workload?

I don't think maghahanap sila ng isa pang designer in the meantime. Very light ang workload ko sa ngayon habang bago yung team, maybe in a few months it'll change.

do u guys have any idea kung gano sila ka strict sa paghihire ng mga game devs kasi based on what bliss15 said na walang training for the game devs so ibig sabihin eh dapat IMBA ka magcode haha pansin ko lang parang wala masyadong nag apply for the game dev position(based on jobstreet) hindi masyadong nadadagdagan *** number of applicants. pero kung sabagay mukang grabe nga *** screening process nila pag apply palang eh nagpagawa agad sila ng project to test the applicant's skills haha ganon din ba *** application process sa mga applicant ng web dev?

When it comes to how strict the screening process, it is quite strict here. Because not all c++ programmers can be game programmers. Most guys here, have experience in game development prior to being employed at Gameloft, so if you want to make the cut as a gamedev, if you have no gamedev skills, you better have "imba" programming skills. Because the job here is not to be taken lightly.

Anyway, afaik, Gameloft is still looking for Game Programmers.

Me too. Ms Chris Ann told me during my interview na they need 2 Dev. Starting date is on Jan 15. Hanggang ngayun pala hindi pa din sila nkakakuha..

hello guys i also took that 1week homework game exam and i must say that i really enjoyed doing/coding that snake game XD. un lang mag 2 weeks na after i submitted it pero wala pa din reply skin =( todo effort na ko sa ginawa ko as in nag apply pa ko ng data structure(linked list) tas i added extra features such as bonus food hehe kaya lang mukang hindi pa din enough un dahil mukang "imba" programming skills nga talaga ang hanap nila
i have prior game dev exp naman kaya nga lang mga basic games lang nagawa ko like text twist, tic tac toe, pong and etc.
nga pala nung nagpass ba kayo nung homework exam nyo eh hiningi din sainyo yung mga source code nung mga projects handled nyo na inespecify nyo sa resume nyo? sakin kasi hiningi lahat eh then after 1 week nag follow up ako hanggang ngayon wala pa din reply c ms ann

wah.. well if 22o nga na 2 lang need nila baka nagdedeliberate na *** dun sa mga na-interview na nila...

di ba sa ibang companeis ok lang magfollow-up? baka pwede rin sa Gameloft. Pano ba kayo nag-aaply?

well nag followup nako and up2 now wala pa din sila reply yun nga eh hindi pako naiinterview pagka apply ko yung homework exam agad binagay so yun.

guys ayun saking contact sa loob nagresign daw ata yung country manager kaya naipit yung mga application naten puro hiring pa din ata talaga sila
can anyone here confirm this? XD

nag apply ako market surveyor..i already took the exam and interviews but i have to take another exam focusing on macro programming...sabe tatawag daw sila this week...wednesday ako nag apply friday n ngayon wala padin.good nmn daw *** application ko pero bat ganun..nag update ako kanina..sabe "we're still processing your application".dapat ba kong mawalan ng pag asa o dpat pa kong mag review?un kase sabe saken..mag review daw ako para sa exam..

ako hindi na nireplyan nakaka 2 follow up nako mukang bagsak na ko sa application ko pero ang weird lang eh bakit hindi sila nagreply sa pagfofollow up ko samantalang may kakilala ako nag nag apply din dati tas nung nag follow up siya eh nireplyan naman siya na rejected yung application nya siguro nakulitan na sakin yung hr nila hehehe well anyway ganon talaga XD
