Shawarma which is best?

Suddenly had a craving for shawarma because of the Avengers.

Kaya pala ang haba ng pila sa Turk's sa MOA before we saw the movie.

I'm still in the search for the taste of the first shawarma I tasted in Rustan's Supermarket.

Shawarma in a pocket and not a wrap. With lotsa onions. The stinkier the better.

Tried another last night. Food Channel in Mandaluyong. 75 pesos for their "with cheese" shawarma. They have free gulaman, a very spicy sauce, and salty garlic sauce. What else can I say?

Before leaving the area, I went to Megamall supermarket. There's this stall called "Yousef's Original Shawarma." Tried it for only 55pesos and it shoots directly to my bottom three. But I was intrigued that they're renting the small space for 40k a month?!!

Where is Blue Ridge?

Ngayon ko lang nabasa hehe. Anyway, ang Blue Ridge ay nasa Katipunan. Kung galing Ateneo, daan lang kayo sa C5. Andun sya sa row ng mga bars. Marami ding resto dun na kalapit - Banapple, Army Navy, Kopiroti, etc. Yun ang mga landmarks.

I'm not surprised. I've tried it myself and I wanted to throw the thing back into the seller's face. Puro litid! Pinatapon ko na lang sa kanya yung uneaten part...."may basurahan kayo?"

Anybody here tried the shawarma of that Persian place in Magallanes? Some of my friends from the south swear by it.

That Hassan thingy sa Blue ridge, meron pala akong nakitang other branch niya sa may Imelda Avenue, just a little bit after Robinson's when you turn right from Marcos Highway. Bukas din siya very late at palaging may tao naman.

the best sana saken ang Khaleb shawarma, kaya lang as of late sa pwesto nila sa SM cubao branch, tinitipid ang sauce, sa katulad ko kasi na mahilig sa spicy sauces, nakaka turn off pag pati sa sauce pagdadamutan ka, while I understand na baka kinukulang kasi sila dahil may mga customer na kung maglagay sobra, gaya ng sa kwek kwek iyon iba halos sabaw ng suka na ilalagay.

still, not an excuse sa khaleb na di i satisfy mga gusto kumain ng shawarma nila.

The best one I've tried was the shawarma in gil puyat station near jam's bus terminal. I use to buy from the stand on my way back home when I was still studying at UST.

Too bad they closed down and shifted to hotdogs and burgers. The shawarma was a lot better than what they sell now.

Their operating hours is from 3pm to 2am

Tri mo Shawarma Co (Lagro) and Passport Shawarma Stall (Sm Clark and SM Pampanga) are the best shawarmas for me.
