Got myself an ebook reader last year, thought it was nice at first...being able to bring dozens of reading material and all...but I'm not really much of a bookworm...I mostly need a couple of days to finish a nice one...weeks if its a dull one...so that feature was totally a waste on me...and because of the erratic battery life (cause of my erratic reading behavior too) I usually forget to charge it and it ends up dying just when I'm enjoying a good read outside... in the end, I really don't like using it that much...reading text on a screen doesn't have as much appeal as reading it on paper, don't know why though...?

I specially like to read old books so I usually go scouting 2nd hand bookstores to find good ones...even bought books on that ship library that was in Manila last time

i'll eventually get a nook or an ipad for portability purpose. but i say, nothing beats the smell of a book and a freshly brewed coffee/tea on a saturday morning.

nabasa ko sa isang sci-fi novel, kaya daw hindi pa phased out yung books kasi dahil yung paper hindi umiilaw... nagsasawa daw yung mata sa screen pero sa books hindi... parang ganun... XD

i have the nook e-reader. it's very convenient for me since i can store so many books in just one gadget and carry them all with me wherever i go. saves me space in my place too. i can only have so much books in my apartment, lol.

when i tried to moved to another state some months ago, i was in such sorrow because i cannot take them all. only my favorite ones. i had to give/ donate them away. i had given away 2 huge boxes of books. i kept sorting and sorting which ones i can part with and which ones i cannot. it was a dilemma.

although i do miss the feel of an actual book in my hands, i'm glad there's an e-reader. it's very neat, very useful.

i still go to the nearest $1.00 bookstore that sells used books every now and then though. i got quite a few collection again. lol.

I have a question.

I've downloading ebooks since early 2008. The site I used to go to for downloading ebooks just closed there text forum where people share ebooks.

Can anyone PM me a link to where I can download ebooks? I know some sites but I've been looking for books that just recently came out and I still can't find them.

Any suggestion will do. Thanks.
