may adverse effect bang mangyayari sa yo pag mag wo work out ka na katatapos lang kumain?

  3. #2683
I work out approximately 1 to 1.5 hours after eating. I would not recommend working out immediately after eating, baka lumabas ang kinain mo.

nakakalaki ba ng upper body ang deadlift & squat? tnx

  5. #2685
^ deadlifts can give you a solid back

Thanks. What about taking a bath after workout? Dapat ba warm shower lang? Or pwede din cold shower?

How many minutes or hours ang interval dapat bago ka maligo after you have exercised or worked-out?

Some say it's better to take a shower if sobrang pawis ka pa at bago ka pa natapos sa exercise or workout mo. Some also prefers to take a bath after an hour or more.

Ano ba talaga ang totoo? Any advantages or disadvantages?

  7. #2687
you can shower right after training. there is no such thing as pasma

  10. #2689

Coach blake, pwede ko ba i-step forward *** isa kong paa tuwing mag-OH Press ako? Nawawala kasi yung balance ko kapag nag OH Press ako na 70lbs.

  13. #2692
^ I think you mean staggered stance... yes pwede.. pero check mo rin how you square up kung nawawala balance mo

I squat with a locally welded pair of stands, measure for my height, fixed. I also had some spotter arms welded, again for my height, at the bottom of my squat.

The metal tubing used is quite thin, but I think it will do until I get past 300 pounds, and the spotter arms have 5 columns, because I told the welder that this will be load bearing. According to him, this should provide drop safety up to 200 kilos or more.

One day I will get some locally welded power racks made out of construction thickness I-beams or something similar. But they are out of my budget at the moment.

Besides, pag novice ka, you should know your limits and not squat more than that. Start low, build it up over time.

Yup, staggered stance nga coach. Para kasi akong babagsak pag nag OH Press ako.

When i do bicep curls, laging sumasakit wrist ko. as in masakit, parang mawawasak buto ko pero tama naman yung form ko.

^ for sure may mali ka rin ginagawa

    Unhappy Hi blakedaddy

Hi there guys. Like everyone else, I'm a desperate newby wanting to have the body everyone wants. Currently, I stand 5'5" and weigh 133lbs. I've been a member in a well-known gym but that wasn't of help since i dont have the knowledge for what should be done for my workout. I've been working out for the past 3 weeks and honestly, I can't see any difference, maybe if there is, very minimal. The trainer gave me a program to be done 3x non-consecutive days a week.

    3x10 HS deadlift 20lbs
    3x10 leg curl 40lbs
    3x10 leg extension 40lbs
    3x10 leg press 100lbs
    3x10 chest press 20-30lbs
    3x10 chest flyers 15-20lbs
    3x10 shoulder press 15lbs
    3x10 lat pull down 40-50lbs
    3x10 FM bicep curls 20lbs
    3x10 rope push down 15lbs

My dilemma is, i think i am overdoing it with that kind of exercises. I'm often irritated. Can you please assess my situation? My goal is weight and muscle gain.

    Please help me..

    Hi blakedaddy

Where do u workout blakedaddy? Can i ask for tips personally? On what i should do. I will also read the article on ur link but i would also like to ask you and be taught by u personally, well if that's possible po.

  20. #2699
^you can go to his gym if you want a personal tip.

Eclipse Gym near shaw. if i'm not mistaken.

I'm doing a modified beginner's program right now. But i'm wondering if i could rest two days after my workout day instead of the regular 1 day rest.

The one being normally taught is to workout 3 times a week. (Rest one day after day1, another one day rest after day2 and then two days rest after day3 - to make it a 3 workout days per week)

Kaya lang minsan parang feeling ko nanghihina pa ako and not yet fully recovered after one day rest day. Ayoko namang gawing 2 times a week lang yung workout days ko.

So i'm wondering if i could do a two-day restday period instead?
