Job Description
We are looking for a simple (static) online data entry solution with the compiled data exportable to Excel.
Details:
-There are severalevaluation forms thatare filled out regularly by multiple users(maximum of 10 at a time per form)
- These evaluation forms are to be translated to HTML versions accessible on the local network only
- Only one data table will be usedperform
- The data that is compiled from that data entry should be exportable to Excel

Tasks
Coordination with project manager
Development of HTML versions of evaluation forms with ASP (preferred) or PHP backend code
Coordination with QA team to resolve bugs
Hosting and implementation of the system on a web server

Skillset
Ability to translate business requirements into technical
requirements
Ability to be self managing and self motivated
Ability to drive tasks to completion and deliver to estimates
Comfortable with quick pace of changeand flexibility to adapt to changes

Extensive exposure to HTML and ASP based coding with MS SQL Server (including hosting and implementation)
or
Extensive exposure to HTML and PHP based coding with MySQL (including hosting and implementation)
Minimum 6 months experience

Essential Software/Platform Knowledge
ASP/IIS/Microsoft SQL SERVERorPHP/MySQL

Optional Software/Platform Knowledge
ASP.NET, AJAX

Monitors governmental and legislative web sites to track developments relating to employment law, workplace safety, and business compliance

Tracks the status of pending employment-related legislation in the House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate, and state legislatures

Reviews electronic publications and news articles to determine topical relevance to core products

Uses RSS feeds to track updates to targeted web sites

Contacts government agencies via telephone to inquire about rulemaking efforts and publication updates

Monitors competitor e-commerce sites for new product introductions and product updates

Compiles pertinent facts and statistics for inclusion in web content, new product projects, and marketing copy

Reports key findings to the Regulatory Monitoring Coordinator and the Director of Research via daily, weekly, and monthly summaries

Compiles questions from employers and HR managers from various forums and blogs

Performs fact-checking support on content projects

Completes special research projects assigned by the Regulatory Monitoring Coordinator.
