SMART driving school

hello... im not sure if i posted in the correct thread or if this has been already posted. MOD, pls move nalang po at the right forum thread. thanks.

i just want to ask if anyone here has tried smart driving school. magkano ba sa knila ang beginners course? kamusta naman ang training sa kanila?

nag inquire kasi ako sa ibang driving school kaya lang laging may conflict sa lecture schedule nila at sa free time ko. and someone recommended SMART nga kaya lang refresher course yung kanya at medyo matagal na yun. so malamang nag iba na ang rates by now. she's happy with SMART, and unhappy with A1. naisip ko lang baka depende yan sa tinuturuan. but i still want to know other reviews about SMART. sana meron dito naka try sa kanila, it would really lighten me up.

you might want to try the Honda driving school sa service road near Bicutan. A bit pricey, but worth it IMO.

I took lessons sa SMART sa pasig. It was ok. Strict and informative un isa kong instructor... un isa, hinayaan lan akong magdrive so wala ko nalaman masyado... Hehehe. Depende kse sa instructor na matapat sa yo e

Sa Smart Philcoa ako nagaral magdrive. Okay naman yung instructors, kasi strict sila, kaya matututo ka talaga magdrive. Maganda rin yung exposure na binibigay nila. Pinasubok ako magdrive ng gabi, ng umaga, sa lubak, ng umuulan, ng traffic, sa Circle etc. Marami rin silang mga alternative routes na binigay sakin... I'm not sure kung ganito sa lahat ng schools, or baka swerte lang ako na tumapat sa mabait na instructor.

salamat sa mga insights... ive checked their rates sa website halos konti lang ang difference ng rates nila sa A1. kaso lang talaga conflict sa sched ko ang mga lecture sessions nila.

Hi.. try to inquire at honda Kalookan.. i think they also have driving lessons.. mas maganda lang talaga sa sucat kasi may sariling ramp and trails dun..

mommy simple lang ang lecture lessons nila.. Basics lang.. you may already know it din eh.. Also the instructor (actual) will tell you naman din.

ok naman siguro sa smart. if you are really a newbie, ask for a considerate at patient instructor lalo na kung manual car ang gagamitin mo.

anyways, sa socialite ako natuto mag drive at dahil sa magaling at matyaga ang instructor ko. nahasa na lang ang driving ko when i drove solo my first car.

Sa Smart SFDM ako nag aral mag drive. First instructor pinag right turn ako sa G. Araneta habang naka Go mga sasakyan. Ayun huli kaagad ng Traffic Enforcer. Wala pang 10 minutes driving iyun.
Following days, iba naman instructor. Tutulugan ka sa trapic bumper to bumper sa E. Rodrigues. Basa ng pawis talaga suot kong damit sa nerbiyos.

At last natapos din driving lesson ko pero hindi ko pa rin alam kung kelan pwede mag left turn sa traffic light. Kung Red ba or Green. Hinuhulaan ko na lang. Grrr. Hindi itinuro ng mga taga Smart.

so far okay yung instructor na napunta sa akin.. medyo istrikto pero madami na ako agad natutunan kahit wala talaga akong alam sa kotse at pagdadrive... manual gamit ko...

Matanong ko lang, kailangan mo pa ba magpareserve or pwede ka mag walk in at magstart agad? Magbabakasyon kasi ako pinas for more than a week lang, marunong na ako magdrive, pero gusto ko lang magpractice ng manual pero marunong na ako, hindi lang magaling. automatic walang problema sakin. magkano ba sa smart? thanks sa sasagot.

My first day in smart was fine. The weather is bad, the instructor is really strict. There were times when I'm running out of patience with him but still I listened because I really want to learn. At the end of the 2 hours lesson I became a little bit confident with my driving but on the next lesson I requested for a new instructor. This second day is more fun. I learned since i'm comfortable with the instructor and he really earned my respect so I listened well. The third day is just ok the instructor just really did his job, didn't learn a lot though. Then came the fourth day, I met this ******* instructor, 30 minutes just passed but I kept on looking on my watch wondering if I'll still continue the lesson. He's not that kind of person that teaches in order for the other person to learn but he want to show the world that he knows it all (yes showoff). Plus he's really a *******. We ended up arguing. Now I'm planning to switch to another school since it has been 7 hours but I haven't learned that much yet.

Sa Smart din ako, natuto naman ako mag drive automatic naman kasi sasakyan ko sa medyo madali lang. Ok kasi yung instructor ko super drawing pa sya ng distance like yung sa Y backing, K backing at parallel parking. Natuto talaga ako dun kasi sa parking talaga ako hirap palagi tsaka distance ng sasakyan ko.
