well, i really like janet, as in. kaso nga lang, a friend of mine told me this...
if janet jackson had any other last name, she wouldnt even be halfway of where she is right now.

In terms of accomplishments, of course Janet Jackson has the edge. But I think I've gotten tired of her sound, so I've moved on (maybe temporarily, I don't know -- I'm prone to "phases") to liking Jennifer Lopez more. She seems more in tune with the way the people's taste in music is changing.
Of course she could just be a fad though.... and one could argue that Janet Jackson is a classic -- which she is, no doubt, because she's been around for so long, and she's still coming out with chart-topping hits.
But for now, I guess, Jennifer Lopez.

Definitely Janet Jackson!
Not only is she a pioneer in the business, she also has 2 Grammys tucked under her belt-- she's even nominated for another 3 this year... and to top it all, she's definitely an original in her own right! I know for a fact her style is purely her own and she can never be accused of adapting or imitating from others...
