Smile MS REVIEWER: Which among these three?

    Book by:

    CABRERA, ROQUE, or BOBADILLA?

Kanino po ang pipiliin niyo? Tinitimbang ko po kasi kung ano lang sa TATLONG ITO ang bibilhin ko. Gusto ko lang pong manghingi ng opinyon ng iba bago ako bumili. Thanks.

By the way, kung ano po ang may pinakamaraming boto iyun po ang bibilhin ko.

I don't normally recommend any book for that matter. Ang advice ko lang ay this: The book of Bobadilla has a slightly higher level of difficulty. If you feel you don't have a good foundation on MAS and needs a thorough back to basics review, I suggest you defer buying his book. However, if you feel your foundation is good enough to tackle moderate to difficult problems, okay yun kay Bobadilla.

More importantly, check the nitty gritty details of the books themselves.

Do you like their format, font type and size, presentation of problems and solutions....Important lahat yan. You have to make sure na you will be excited to finish the book and not solving only a few pages. Good luck

this is my order of priority, if i were you:

    1. Roque - strength- well-organized , easy to understand...weakness- questions are not hard enough
    2. Bobads - strength- questions difficulty....weakness- weak presentation of answers and questions
    3. Cabrera - voluminous but shallow problems

Lahat? Naku, gustuhin ko man, hindi naman kaya. Masyadong limited ang time. Information overload na 'yun.lol

    Off-topic:
Nung nagpunta ako sa Lares sabi sa'kin ng nagtitinda doon (CPA yata siya) hindi daw niya mairerekomenda 'yung kay Agamata na MS reviewer dahil most of the questions daw doon ay kinukuha niya lang daw sa CMA book yata 'yun? How true? Chismis na 'to.

Most MAS reviewers, if not all, have either adapted or copied from the CMA/CFM reviewer for questions in addition to past RPCPA, foreign book testbanks etc.

Ah ganun ba, well ang sakin lang naman po ay bibili na lang ako ng mismong CMA/CFM reviewer kaysa bumili ng local book na halos kinuha lang naman pala doon. Anyway... point noted.

Hindi kelangan lahatin para mag top. Kung ayaw mo mabaliw, wag mong lahatin. Myself, I only used CPAR handouts, but then I had an okay foundation in MAS.

That's direct from the top 6's mouth. Undergrad reviewee yan. Top six right after graduation. Next time pag nag lunch tayo, kayo naman taya. Hehehe. Kumusta training?

Suggestion ko try mo muna ang Roque, (that's what I used sa undergrad) for me that's the best start pero as what others have said kung maganda na ang foundation mo use Dean Bobadilla's reviewer. That's what I am using now.

Letter D. None of the above.

Wala ba sa choices yung CMA/CFM Reviewer?

Medyo madami ngang (sa 2007 ed) typo errors. Delikado especially if you're not familiar with the formula. I can't say sa 2009 ed. Why not use Dean Bobadilla's reviewer instead? or if you have access, our MAS handouts at CPAR are really good with our quizzers.
