normal ba tong experience ko, kasi everytime na magsasagot ng p2, isa lang ang tumatama sa handouts na sinagutan ko....i don't have any idea where did the illustrative problems came from....wala kahit sa anong reviewer...baka sa foreign author kinuha...

buti pa sa ms kahit di ako magbasa ng textbook...kahit papaano may tumatama...kahit first time ko lang nakita yung problem...

problema ko talaga p2 waaaaa.....weak spot..

Sabi nila madali ang P2. I read sa dating thread may comment na papito pito nalang daw ang ibang examinees after the actual board sa P2. try mo ang P2 textbook ni Mam Lupisan at Dean Baysa or kay Mr. Guerrero. or if may kakilala kang taga PUP pde ka magpaturo, approachable sila.

guys, take note: the recently concluded MAY 2009 CPA board exam e ang P2 po ang pinaka.mahirap na subject.....

meron po dun question about journal entries... hehehe... at kakalito ang mga choices...

walang pinakamahirap o pinakamadali pagdating sa board exam.

dapat lahat bigyan ng equal treatment, pero siyempre depende yan sa gamay mo na subjects

TOA - theories, 80-100
BLT - theories (cases), computations 50-70
AT - theories, 80-100
MS - theories, computations 50-70
AP - computations, 40-50
P1 - computations, 40-50
P2 - computations, 40-50

minsan kala mo ang dali ng subject pero pag nakita mo yung result..nakow

saka wag kayo maniwala sa sabi-sabi, (lalabas yung gantong question, eto mga topics na lalabas) anything can happen pag dating sa actual, basahin ang buong syllabus, pag-aralan ang mga topics

pag nahihiya sa reviewer magtanong (wag sana palagi) may mga profs tayo dito tulad nina sir larry at sir anson (thanks sirs! ) para mapagtanungan, magtanong din sa mga kapwa reviewee

huwag din bumili ng sobrang daming books at reviewers, magfocus sa mga magagamit nyo lang (1 reviewer, 1 texbook per subject sabi sa CPA Review Thread #1). ubusin muna ang review materials ng review center mo bago makishare ng review materials from others

wag iasa ang CPA license sa hear-says at swerte. mag-aral, mag-basa, practice ng practice, makinig sa lecturer (dito mo maririnig yung hindi mo mababasa sa reviewers/books mo), matulog ng tama, umiwas sa distractions, wag kalimutan ang health saka pray syempre

kaya yan mga pre!

i am currently undergradreviewee of prtc, sir..
nagreview ko sa prtc dahil mahina ang foundation ko ng MAS, kala ko maabutan ko kayo dun. hehe. RUMORS daw na "highest in the land" ang rate for reviewers.

Suggest ko request ka kay Prof. Anson Keh ng lecture notes niya sa MAS. More than willing to help si Sir Anson. Di ka mapapahiya sa kanya.

Hey guys, i'm looking for the answers of sir bobads in the MAS CPAR handouts....i'm not originally assigned in the session of sir bobads...i'm just making a sit-in to his class due to unplanned schedule temporarily or more appropriately to say it's already permanent....

maybe somebody here knew the website where can I download those answers.....can you please give it to me?...thanx in advance po...

coz there is a wide gap of phasing between sir bobads and sir roque, I hope you can understand me...I cannot cope up immediately..

well, it's july na. mga 3 mos to go nalang. i do hope more than half way na kayo sa inyong mga review para 2 or 1 month before the exam, eh di na kayo masyadong mapressured for the coming board exams. hehehe so alisin ang mga distractions at focus. remember, minsan lang itong CPA board exams sa buhay niyo so gawin niyo na ang best ninyo para walang pagsisisi sa huli!!! go go go!

yup, makinig talaga kayo kay kaburns. Ang P2 ang dahilan ng maraming "pangyayari" sa buhay ng mga CPA hopefuls, both passers and topnotchers, hehehe hay, 2nd to the lowest grade ko ang P2! toinks!

pero then again, huwag ding kalimutan ang ibang subjects dahil equal weight nga naman sila.

hahaha... beware talaga sa P2! alien ang question jan unlike the other exam....
P2 was my lowest grade last may.2009 board exam!
i only go 70% on this subj... luckily i still made it and past the board exam

some says that previous board exam was based on Prac.2 reviewer of Dayag, but last may.2009 was a different one.... new problems, new questions... especially the journal entries i think that there is new trend in prac.2... but still, we cannot erase the fact that still, Dayag reviewer is still very useful!

Hi! Gud pm, bago lang akong member pero almost 1 yea na rin ako ngababasa ng thread dito. Just need help, currently I'm working abroad, but I still want to take the CPA Board exam sa Pinas, kahit ok na work ko dito feeling ko me kulang pa rin..... naks! drama...... pero totoo... nagreview ako last Oct 2008 but didn't have the courage to take May 09 exam, icocontinue ko sana review ko kaya lang natanggap nmn akong mag work dito...syempre grab the opportunity diba! pero feeling ko me di pa ako nagagawa sa buhay ko.......

Sensya na ha dami pasakalye pero need lang sana ko ng help baka pwede nyo email sakin soft copy ng mga hand out tsk audio ng lectures. Ngayon puro basa lang ako ng mga nakukuha ko sa net. Eto email add ko map_10092002@yahoo.com. Sana may magbigay, tatanawin kong malaking utang na loob! :-)

as of my own experience last may.2009, the 6 subjects was manageable.... the night before P2 exam, i thought, abot kamay ko na ang CPA license.... hehehe.... but after P2 exam, i've just feel na mukhang hnd ako papasa! (feeling ko nmn ganun din feeling ng co-takers ko ng exam) hehehe... luckily, i've passed the board!

actually madali lang ang P2 kung alam mo concept..procedural lang naman yan eh..kahit na journal entries...highest ko ito sa actual eh...heheheh...makinig ka lang ki emong at aralin mo ang entries sa book ni guerrero.....at practice practice practice...huwag mag focus dun sa amount.....malaking tulong kung alam mo ang entries lalo na sa pagsagot ng problem...yan ang susi ko kung bakit mataas ang P2 ko....hehehehe

@ lccwcf, when ka nagtake ng board exam? sa may 2009 ba? kasi ikaw pa so far ang alam kong nadadalian sa P2 sa batch namin. hehehe
well, yeah P2 as i've known before was quite procedural. pero sa trend ngayon, with all the forex, business com and others emerging, parang dapat conceptual approach ang kailangan na dito. nakikitrend na talaga sa global economy... pero then again, depende pa rin sa examiner. hehehe

@sir larry, kay leomar o lockex ba yung grade na yun sir?

@mhiezy: buti ka at manageable talaga sa iyo ang ibang subjects like BLT, kasi ako naghirap sa subject na iyon. kaya yun ang lowest ko. funny din kasi yung toa, na feeling ko ang pinakaeasy, eh naging mababa din ang grade ko. one of my lowest din. well, iba iba talagang experiences natin. hehehe

yep..yep...yep... nagkita nga kami kanina... sya nga gumawa ng test sa mafin <ata..di ako sure...>

natawa naman ako kay sir magat...hehehe ewan ko, basta...iba kasi record nia sa time namin, as opposed sa testimonies ng mga succeeding batches na dumaan sa kanya... during review kasi may time na tumatambay yong mga jpia officers sa dorm namin tpos naikwento nga nila na supergaling daw ni sir, tawa2 *** ng tawa nung mga kadorm ko...haha kasi nga dahil dun...matalino naman siya pero may kulang...mabait ** naman siya, kabiruan nga namin siya e...cool kasi...hahaha si sir aguarin naman, mahirap magbigay ng exams yan, muntik na nga akong magka2.25 nun e...hehehe kaya nung minsan na nakaperfect ako nagviva ako ng bonggang bongga..wahaha cool din yan...nakita ko siya kanina, pinagtripan ako...hehehe

anyway, goodluck sa review...
tsaka break a leg sa CPA board exams...*** yan... laude ka man o hindi...kaya yan... may kabatch nga kami nun na muntikan ng di gumraduate kasi halos bumagsak sa MSrev pero pumasa siya ng 1take lang... kaya don't lose hope...

p.s. wag mo kong isusumbong kina sir kundi, abatan da ka keng maingate...wahaha joke...

no comment muna akoh sa mga teachers.. ahah.. handle nila mga review subjects namen.. delikado na.. joke.. ahah.. pero bsta naka grad ka sa HAU for xur marame ka msasabi sa tatlong yan.. good or bad.. ahah.. pero yung mga dreaded exams ni sir aguarin,, mas matindi ngayong AccRe, though sasabihin niya.. wag mag worry kase di naman ganyan kahirap bibigay sa board exam.. ehe..sumasakit lang ulo koh sa AccRE.. may orientation pala mga new instructors kahapon..

sino po may bagong edition ng book na ito? yung white, maayos na po ba yung texts or content ng book?
