Hi Sir Larry and other Pexers,

Ang weekend review po ba ay for working reviewees only? Kasi po naisip ko lang na mas makakatipid ako sa allowance kung weekends lang ako nasa Manila....
About din po sa pacing, parehas lang po ba sila ng regular review schedule?
...hindi naman po ako mag-work while reviewing, pero kailangan din po kasi namin magtipid...ano po ma-advice niyo sa 'kin? Thanks

Yung tungkol sa weekend review, it really depends on the situation. On my part, go ako for weekend review since I am working and night shift pa. I have the same set of schedules last sem sa CPAR. I've tried attending morning class after my shift pero lutang ang utak ko. Na condi ako and 2 subjects na *** ang need ko i-take. Sayang talaga, I got an average of 74.86 :-( Tiyaga *** and time management....

I finally made a PEX account after long hours of reading/scanning/skimming both threads 1 and 2. And, i must say, i acquired a better view of the licensure examination. i learned/discovered so much. If only i were able to stumble upon this thread few years back, i think i could have been a CPA-at-first-attempt.
i hope to share my story too, and get some good advices from you guys. (perhaps we should create a CPA Stories Thread... ang daming magaganda at inspiring stories dito eh. )

i am starting to review "again" this november, i am doing the one year process. 2 years kasi ako napahinga sa pag-aaral.
magpapareserve na ko at the end of this month, weekend class. still undecided if i am going to CPAR or RESA or PRTC. parang lahat kasi ok. :/

i suggest buy Roque or Ocampo's Auditing Prob books. Same stuff you'd find in the handouts.

Aralin mo na lang ang Roque, & Ocampo, start ka with Roque reviewer, tapos lipat ka ng Ocampo. Do it by topic. Mas madadali kasi problems ni Roque compared to Ocampo. Much better start ka with TOA-P1-AP, yan ang effective na combination. Foundation kasi ng AP, knowledge mo of Financial Accounting. If you want to buy second hand review materials mag post ka ng message sa Lares before the actual cpa board exam, ibang provincial students, binebenta at very low price mga materials nila, minsan pati handouts pa.

Kung may time ka punta ka sa prtc saturday afternoon, baka puede ko ipakiusap sit-in ka sa AP class ni Cabarles. Wala na ako sa MaDocs. Balik Chiang Kai Shek College on weekdays na ako at PRTC on Saturday afternoons. Focus ka on your studies. Si gretcher at onewhey uma-attend ng MAS class ko on Saturdays.

haha wag na sir, nahiya naman ako. Thank you ng madami sir ah., self study nalang muna ako kasi lapit na ng midterm namin eh hehe.

Di ko ** pala maintindihan MAS, lalo na yung Relevant/Differential costing and capital budgeting

pero focus muna ako sa audprob ngayon kasi nakuha ko na MAS na subject eh
