hello guys..how much did you have for the show money for tourist???its my first to apply...please help...
Let's say you're working with a mthly salary of 25k a month working for only a year at 1st work mo@21 yo, di ba magdududa ang consul officer if your show money is a whopping 1million? Possible naman, kung mapapakita mo sa consul that you come from a well-off family.
The point is, consistency. Dapat ang app form mo at supporting docs mo (show money included) ay nagja-jibe.‹
I've read everything on this forum, from page 1 to 69, pero parang walang similar sa case ko.
I am 33 years old. My husband and I got married last January 12, 2012 lang. He's a Canadian permanent resident and he went back to Edmonton 2 weeks after our wedding.
He's a civil engineer and he's capable of sponsoring me na para makapunta dun as PR din. But then I'm not ready to leave the Philippines for good yet. Aside from the fact na di ko pa maiwan ang parents ko (I'm an only girl in the brood of two), my brother and I are managing our businesses. We operate city and tourist buses.
So yun, I am applying to have a multiple entry visa so I could just visit him whenever our schedule permits. Lalo na that we are trying to conceive din kasi we are not getting any younger.
I was confident at first kasi feeling ko the visa officer would think naman na di ako magt-TNT sa Canada since pwede naman akong maging PR legally through my husband (and in less than a year, for sure makakasunod na ako dun). Pero may friend ako na visa officer sa NZ Embassy who mentioned that my having a husband who's a PR may be taken against me. Kasi baka hindi na ako umuwi. So yun, bigla akong na-depress.
Thanks so much!
You will be asked to state your purpose & you can tell them your situation.
While cover letters aren't necessary in the NIV form, you will have to make one considering your situation as dropbox lang ang embassy (unless it sees the need for an interview). I'd suggest you write a cover letter sa app explaining to the officer what you've explained to us here why you're asking for an NIV instead for opting for a PR.
hey guys im goin to submit my application next week heheh hope it works for me pag pray nyo po ako and sana maapprove din yung sa inyo best of luck satin lahat and thanks bonbon8 for answering my questions always ....god bless let u know nlng the result ingats...have a great one
That's really what I intend to do. Write a letter (hope the visa officer really reads those letters) and explain my case. My husband has already sent me his 'letter of invitation' and other docs.
Although for a first-timer, it's not really that advisable to apply for a multiple entry visa agad kasi di pa napapatunayang hinohonor ng applicant ang grant ng embassy na length of stay allowed upon first entry to Ca ng applicant (which the VO considers as a factor), siguro nga may mga nagagrantan naman na multiple entry agad for first-time applicants depending sa case.
Is it safe to submit original documents like land title, car registration and bank passbook?
As an applicant, you can apply for single entry visa or multiple entry visa. Single entry allows a one time entry while multiple entry allows several entry within the validity of the visa.
I finally called their call center kanina. The call took 8-9 minutes. Nagulat lang ako nang sabihin na tentatively sa May 2 ang pick-up but I shalll wait till May 4. Whew, parang opposite dun sa nabasa ko na accurate sila sa pag-set ng time ng pick-up. So need ko mag-antay ng 3 days, with no definite time kung kelan darating.
Anyway, I am now preparing my documents.
^ My advice: Don't put the Post-It notes; it'll only look like you're underestimating the officer's intelligence. They're already familiar with all the documents.
It's also understandable that you're only presenting the photocopy of the mayor's permit.
I also agree with bonbon8. Since it's your first time, only apply for a single entry now. Then, when you have to travel to Canada again, that's when you get the multiple entry. On the other hand, getting a multiple-entry visa can also make it look like you're telecommuting with work there. It's far from a guarantee that you're going back to the Philippines.
^ Thanks, illumina! I'll just organize my documents without post-its
Medyo late na nga lang yung sa 'single entry' as I already got a manager's check for multiple. One question po pala, if I applied for multiple, is it possible na single entry ang ibigay ng visa officer?
