    kahit papaano may nagawang maganda c PGMA sa bayan sa larangan ng transportation facilities kahit di man malaki. Sa panahon lang niya nagkaroon ng expansion ng LRT, NLEX, at mga RO-RO etc.

    basically, we will have a mismatch in terms of rail gauges. while the Northrail already made the transition from the old Cape gauge to the widely used Standard gauge (the same rail gauge that we have in the LRT and MRT systems), the Southrail remains on Cape gauge.

    yes, it is an expensive undertaking but we it would be more cost-effective to just standardize our rail gauges to Standard gauge as compared to having both Standard gauge (Northrail) and Cape gauge (Southrail), meaning two different sets of rolling stock, one on Standard gauge and the other one on Cape gauge.
