get ready for Hellraiser: The Series!!!!!

Sonar Entertainment and executive producer Larry Kupin are developing the project.

Kupin is behind New World, the company that brought us Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser II. Sonar teases the series like this:

One of the most successful (and terrifying) franchises in film history is ready for its weekly television debut. For over 25 years, fans have followed the exploits of an insidious villain named Pinhead, summoned from a nightmarish underworld by an ancient puzzle box. He will seduce you with power and tempt you with fear, until your soul belongs to him. Now, for the first time, a weekly series set in the fantastic realm of Hellraiser will thrill audiences worldwide.

Established directors and some of the most gifted emerging directors will make up the diverse roster of creative talent that will showcase twenty-six tales of mortality, beginning with the letter A and ending with the letter Z.

This will be a celebration of death in all its forms. From the shocking and exotic through to the banal and droll. The spectrum of cause will run from the accidental through to murder most foul. It is up to each director to interpret the letter (word) they are assigned. They have 6 months, 6 weeks and 6 days to finish their short tale on death. "

    Jeepers Creepers 3: Cathedral (2012)

Synopsis: Set 23 years after the previous film, we follow Trish Jenner (Gina Phillips), who is now a mother. Realizing that the return of the Creeper is just around the corner, she begins to have terrible recurring nightmares of her own teenage son confronting the creature and suffering the same fate as her deceased brother. Now a rich and powerful woman, she's determined to finally put an end to the Creeper once and for all.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D (2013)

Synopsis: Twenty years ago the town of Newt, Texas, exacted vengeance on the Sawyer family for their role in assisting and concealing murders committed by the chainsaw-wielding maniac Jeb Sawyer, aka "Leatherface". The entire family was presumed killed when Burt Hartman led the townspeople to burn down their farmhouse, but the Sawyer infant survived and was secretly taken away by two of the vigilante townies, Gavin and Arlene, and raised as their daughter, Heather.

It's not until she's in her twenties that Heather learns that she's adopted. A lawyer for her grandmother tracks her down with word she's been left an inheritance. Angry at her parents for lying to her, she sets out for Texas on a road trip with her boyfriend, Ryan; friends Nikki and Kenny; and Darryl, a hitchhiker they pick up on the way.

Arriving in Newt, Texas, Heather is shown to her grandmother's house by lawyer Farnsworth - and is shocked to find it's a massive and opulent mansion. While the others get food at a local store, Darryl explores the mansion and inadvertently frees Leatherface from a sealed room -- a mistake he will soon regret.

Directed by Scott Derrickson and from the producers of Paranormal Activity and Insidious.

Ethan Hawke plays a true crime novelist struggling to find his next big story discovers a box of home videos showing other families being brutally murdered, but his investigation soon leads him to a supernatural entity that may be placing his own family in harm's way.

Maganda iyong idea ng director, lalo na sa may bandang third act. If you are a hardocre horror fan manlalaki mata mo sa mga lalabas na characters.

Medyo nakulangan lang ako sa slasher part ng film. Kulang sa grit iyong habulan/death scenes. Grit talaga.

I would've given it an 8 kaso ang corny ng ending. Pero kudos sa director/writers for creating something fresh and different.
