Complaints about toyota vios

Kahit Mercedes Benz pa yan or BMW yan pag na Ondoy ka.....pare-parehas na kakalawangin yan.

Ang daming na total wreck na Merc and BMW nung na Ondoy.

Guys normal ba yung may pumapatak na tubig sa loob ng vios 2011 ko. Sa may bandang ilalim sa ibaba ng compartment sa loob. Once lang nangyari ngayon lang after kasi kanina mabilad ng matagal sa init ng araw bigla nung pag gamit ko sa kotse umulan. Normal ba yun?

Definitely pag hindi nangyayari dati na may tulo sa loob. Yan ay di normal. baka may barado, maduli, nahugot na hose at sa loob na tumutulo ang tubig. Pacheck mo yan brother. o ikaw na visually check mo muna.

Not normal.

If it's at the front passenger side footwell, have your A/C drain checked as it may be clogged.

Check also your door mouldings for any loose bits and the drains.

parang 'yes' or 'no' lang ang sagot dapat sa tanong pero nagdahilan pa eh, hehehe..

anyway, kung san mas makakamura at mas hassle-free, dun ka na lang.. and also, kung san ka din naapprove dapat.

some observation i found on 2012 vios 1.3e

1. panget ng sound pag todo bass and high volume, i dont know kung speaker yung naririnig kong garalgal o mga loose plastic parts sa loob.

2. 1st time to wax it, lumalangitngit (ng konti lang naman) yung bumper sa likod, pati yung emblen ng toyota sa harapan, medyo umuuga, it seems di talaga maganda pagkakakabit nila ng mga parts, never experienced this with honda city.

3. a light delay on gas or di kagad kumakagat kung light lang pagapak mo, its AT, not really a problem, nasanay lang sa honda city na kahit light kumakagat kagad.

4. mahina hatak compared sa honda city namin, but i think its because 1.5 yung city at 1.3 lang tong vios. maraming maneuver ang nagagawa ko sa honda city na di ko magawa sa vios.

Just realized that toyota dont install ac filter to vios, kaya kung bibili ka vios, ask for ac filter as freebies, or bili ka na lang, 900 daw.

On my GF's Vios, we replaced the rear speakers with Pioneer. What's surprised me is the OEM speakers. They're no longer made from Alpine like the old Toyotas. Sobrang nipis ng magnet. No wonder tunog lata.

yep, first thing you do is replace the speakers with an alpine and you're good to go. the head unit is more decent than you think.

Yung HU ng nakuha namin 1.3e eh walang aux or usb, to use mp3 i had to burn it to cd. If im going to break the warranty, might as well replace the HU, mura lang naman yata yung may usb at aux.

My sister's AT vios has been alright. It's almost 2 years old now and it is great for city driving. I wouldn't say that it is a miser though.

Totoo ba na yung 2010 Vios, may problema sa clutch at kapag nag-sliding na, hindi na pwedeng palitan?

Seems untrue. It's the first time i heard of this given the current gen Vios has been in the market for over five years already (the new one should be out next year).

Kung hindi na kaya ng adjustment, palit cluch disc, pressure plate and release bearing. Go for OEM or a replacement brand such as Aisin (Japan). You can contact shops in Banawe like Toyorama or NGK for pricing of both OEM and replacement.
