o sige na nga, the majority have spoken. majority na din kasi dalawa kayo over me,hihi.

i will support na lang zodiac's cause. although you can't blame me for my pessimism. you know what i mean guys.

nevertheless i'm jumping on the band wagon.

anyway, i totally agree that we should have our own subforum, there are many things that we can discuss about our school and our alumni.

however, til we're granted one, let's stick together in the different threads about FEU here in Pex, to show that we have the number to support a subforum.

    Good day to all Tamaraws.

    ok page 2 na!

    ^^^

ayus lang yan. i, too, have a little negative thoughts about this proposed subforum. However, its not as strong as my desire to have a Far Eastern U subforum.

And yeah, we should speak (err, through our fingers) whenever there's a thread that maybe applicable to FEU, or when one is bashing our alma mater.

^ yeah, in fact, i stopped visiting threads with pexers from other schools bashing FEU, duh, what's with that?

If they were able to succeed in life with the help of their school, why bash FEU. di ba dapat deadma since secured sila na mas magaling sila. The truth is, it hurts to their bones that they were beaten in real life by graduates of other schools which they perceive as inferior to theirs.

The only issue I'm really concerned of is the real policy of FEU accepting students who get debarred from other schools. I haven't really met or seen one. Lalo na sa mga allied med courses, it's our policy not to even accept transferees kahit regular pa.

But if there is truth to this with another Institute, my stand is that I know on one hand they should be given a second chance to change, improve. Lalo na yung mga students who just probably had difficulty or problems in their personal lives affecting their studies or those who weren't able to adjust immediately in college but are willing to take a second shot at their academic life.

And I really don't give a s*it of what others think of it, especially to those who sees it as a golden opportunity to attack FEU's academic reputation. Their pea sized brains would never comprehend that.

Siguro yung extent lang ng pagtanggap ng mga transferees. I hope, FEU is aggressive in their selection of those students. I don't mind having debarred students as schoolmates, pero sana mahigpit ang screening. Kung mukhang wala talagang interest mag aral, wag ng tanggapin or wag na munang tanggapin until they've really decided to get serious wih their studies.

Nevertheless, I stick with FEU's second chance policy, sana konting higpit lang sa screening.

    To my fellow Tamaraws

Let's continue to show what FEU is all about by refraining from school bashing and mudslinging. So far I haven't seen a schoolmate of ours did one.

Let's prove that even though, we don't have any theology or values education courses, we can be matured and responsible with our thoughts and words.

Of course we should continue to defend our Alma Mater from any malicious attacks, insults and ridicules. But cast not the first stone on another school or student. We know we are better than that.

We're just here to celebrate the success and achievements of our school and alumni and continue to provide inspiration to the next generation of Tamaraws.

I could not help but smile reading the exchange here. To be honest, the first time I visited Pex, I was deeply troubled reading anti-FEU posts. But then again, these are outsiders' who are more often than not sources of biased points of view. I wouldn't mind saying FEU's among the country's premier universities, and I don't have to give anybody a hundred and one reasons to prove our worth.

BTW, I'm from IAS Class of 2008.

regarding those bashers, don't mind them, they're just using FEU as a punching bag for their frustrations, di sila napa unlad ng schools nila kaya nabubuhay na lang sila sa paninira ng ibang school, that's a form of crab mentality you know.

Mahalaga wag tayong tumulad sa kanila, just focus on your goals, work hard. Success doesn't come immediately or in monetary rewards. It's the fulfillment you get from what you're doing, wherever you are.

And so long as you work honestly and with integrity, FEU and the alumni will always be proud of you.

    practice what you preach.

us ka ng us tapos kinakain mo rin ang sinasabi mo.

what you're doing is another form of that mentality. is that all you can come up with?

  12. #32
^nope, of course there are more things than I can come up with, but I rather not say, yung US nga lang di mo na mahandle, other things na nakayanan ko pa kayang gawin.

and what's in it to you?! my bragging was a defense to what students of other schools have been doing, which is attack FEU.

Talagang pumunta ka pa dito para pabasa sakin ang message mong bulok. Eh ikaw what have you done for FEU, have you stood defense on our part, didikta dikta ka kala mo naman may nagawa kang mabuti samin.

Pinipigilan ba kitang insultuhin mo ang mga nanlalait sa UST. Di ba pinagtatanggol mo din ang school mo. Our school is being attacked open season in Pex and if we come to its aid in whatever way, that's our prerogative and it's none of your business!

If you can't help then don't stand in our way in defending our school.

Bakit masyado kang insecure sa amin ?

If you're going to deny it, I don't intend to do anything about it.

The point was never me. So what if I brag about my achievements? As if you know my name or have seen my face. Was it meant to intimidate, yes, by an FEU grad, and not by a certain person behind these keys, out of defense of their constant ridicule and attacks against FEU.

Would you just stand and watch while people attack your home or family member? That's cowardice, not diplomacy. Would you use reason when someone sticks out a knife in your face?

So don't expect me to rationalize with those morons, when street antics are used to ridicule one's school, you can never reason with them. They're fair game when they crossed that line.

And correct me I'm wrong or inaccurate, but isn't a crime mitigated when its done out of defense of one's dignity, loved one and sanctuary?

And there's no drama there, it's a fact, right?
