advise naman sa mga expert dyan...ok ba magparepair sa banawe o talagang bilihan lang ng mga pyesa?

madami kasi ko papagawa..ayaw umilaw ng headlight,oil leak (konti lang naman), shocks masyado na maalog lalo na sa humps parang waterbed, gas tank ko antagal kumarga ng gas kailangan pa kalugin kotse para bumaba agad gas, gas gauge din kaylangan palitan. May mga malapit na mekaniko samin (project 8) pero di ko alam kung mas ok magpagawa sa banawe...

and seat cover pala san maganda magpagawa.

Hi annimamba, marami dyan sa Proj. 8. Banawe ang last place I would go for car repair. MARAMING HARANG DYAN KUNG WALA KANG KAKILALA OR RECOMMENDATIONS. If you're new to cars, chances are, puputaktihin ka ng mga mandaraya sa Banawe. Yung mga nakahilera sa kalye hindi ka papakawalan at lolokohin ka sa mga pyesa, etc. And madadale ka at the end of the day.

I suggest go to somewhere else. Get recommendations dito sa Pitstop, meron na dito thread re isa pang harang yung Rapide.. wag din dun. Hanap ka lang dito sa Pitstop. Or kung kotse mo Mitsubishi, go to mymitsu.ph, Nissan - nissanbayan.com, etc. etc.

Pero kung may makilala kang legit na talyer / auto supply dyan sa Banawe, pwede din siguro pero ingat ka pa din.

Ang ginagawa ko is bili lang ng pyesa sa Banawe, then sa trusted talyer ako nagpapagawa.

Depende, ako ok sa akin, may suki ako na tindahan doon at may tumabambay sa kanya na freelancer. Wala ako iba kausap doon kundi yung may-ari ng tindahan at yung freelancer na yun. Pero kung wala ka pa ganun, better to look around first sa recommendations ng mga car clubs/forums gaya ng sabi nung isa, e.g. kung Mitsubishi sasakyan mo go to mymitsuph.com, kung Mazda sa mazdatech.org, etc.

^ ako kinakausap ko lang din si kuya willie, bestcolt. mabait 'yan and mura parts kung naka-mitsubishi ka. may kilala rin siyang mekaniko kaya kapag quick fix and hindi maselan, du'n ko pinapagawa. ibang usapan na ang electrical, shock refills at detailing.

when i replaced my front spring, naglibot din ako sa proj8 asking price labor nila is 1000 petot, i bring my car in banawe i only spent 300 petot for the labor...

ingat lang maraming makukulit na asungot dun na lalapit sayo kahit may ka deal ka na... just ignore them nalang...

I forgot to mention, i'm pertaining to going to those freelance mechanics in Banawe whom which you should avoid. There are some good shops like Wheelers Suspension Haus although these guys get filled up on weekends.

i remember one time my mom and I went there to have something repaired. Minor lang naman. since babae mom ko at bata yung kasama kinuyog kami. pinagbabaklas yung mga rubber sa pinto, pinalitan ng bago yung ting kinaskas kinabitan ng bago basta ang dami. ewan ko langmagkano naharang nila sa mom ko. katakot. pag pumalag ka di mo na din alam mangyayari sayo. hehehehe

they're right, just go to reputable shops there at banawe, NOT dun sa mga nasa kalye, hindi naman lahat sila manloloko, pero karamihan hustlers, why take the risk?

LVC is an auto supply. So far they give good price for OEM and quality replacement parts.

better to buy parts at banawe and bring your car somewhere else for repairs.

quick jobs are not really reliable. besides, would you rather allow a person who only knows how to hold a wrench rather than a reputable mechanic with complete tools and knows what he's doing?

for wheel/camber alignment, i prefer goodyear servitek rather than wheelers...they did a very disappointing job on my car before.

remember, you get what you pay for....
