The E*trade Information Services, LLC is at the 15th floor. The 18th floor is the office of Access Worldwide. I believe it is not required that you have an accounting or financial background because I also have some batchmates who are graduates of other courses. However, you must be a graduate if you wish to apply. The training is like a classroom setup. You will be provided with a very thick book that you MUST study to prepare you for the Series 7 exam. The trainor will also discuss the whole book to help you as well. Its a cycle of Read-Listen-Study-Take Exam thing. It is mentally challenging and requires patience and perseverance but I think it would be worth it. If you pass, Product Training follows. I am still preparing for Series 7 though so I don't have any idea about the next stage. I hope it helps!Good luck.
For management post can anybody enlighten me? I will have an interview this coming Tuesday.
I am very sorry but I do not have any info for the management post. I wish you all the best in the interview!Break a leg.
hi..someone texted me today for an interview and exam for financial service rep position..but unfortunately hindi ako nakapunta..pwede pa kaya ako pumunta? ok ba magtrabaho dito?
epal yung HR dito. kasi tinext yung friend ko. ininvite for an interview sa makati pa tapos taga Rizal pa yung friend ko ha. When he went there, parang napahiya pa sya kasi sabi sa kanya they only accept 4 yr college grad. eh 2 yr college level lang sya.
The only way to verify that info is thru interview. Di ba nakalagay dapat Graduate of a 4 year Degree?![]()
Hmmm, the way I see it, it is a gross miscommunication from both parties. One not being able to communicate that a graduate of a 4 year course is a minimum qualification and the other letting his/her emotions get the out of control before clarifying.
I guess it is a learning experience for everybody who wants to apply in this company. To be safe, best to ask the recruiter before coming to ensure you will not waste your time. It is not forbidden to ask questions after a phone interview. That's actually a sign you are very interested.
For current employees, any more insider tips for those who are seeking employment? What are the LOBs? How many tollgates?
It is a paid training that lasts for 3 months(?). The first 6 weeks will be for the Series 7 exam preparation. After passing, you could continue your training. For more info, you may ask the HR about that. What I have shared is purely of my own experience and it may have changed without me knowing about it.
Full salaried ka naman during the training.
For current and previous employees, I just need some background, for my interview:
>When was the Philippine site established?
>How big is the organization?
>How many centers in the Philippines?
TIA.
For management hopefuls I suggest you prepare for the long haul when you are going to apply here. The process you have to go through is extremely long, I finished the first half today and the next couple more interviews are going to be scheduled this week.
Fingers crossed that I make it.
Congratz po and God Bless You!I also underwent an extremely long process though I was only applying for a Financial Service Rep. See you around sir within this week!

Don't dare tell me na mali sya. Sino ka ba? Look at the mirror nga. Kung sa tingin mo unjust yung observation ko sa HR. well I respect your opinion, kasi that's what you think. So respect mine. Kasi opinion ko rin to and this is what I think. Read between the lines. Rereact agad... respetuhan nalang.
Again yung post ko is just to share what my friend went through. And not to gain any sympathy or para kampihan or what. Kaya nga E*Trade forum to diba kasi pwede magpost ng kahit anong may kinalaman sa company.
Adios. Ang di makaintindi wag na magreact. Pasensya na I'm just being a friend to my friend.
