i finished season 2 last night. season 2 is even better than season 1. sayang, iba na characters sa season 3.

but, i heard that there will be a movie. i think this is great because i wanna know what will happen to sid and cassie in NY, wether tony and michelle will work out their long-distance relationship, and maxxie and anwar, will they hook-up. hehe.. and jal too, wether she'll have the abortion...

Btw, OT lang. What other Brit TV series can you recommend? The first Brit TV show I watched was Gavin and Stacey at nagustuhan ko sya talaga. Nag research pa ako kung ano maganda then I read about Skins. Any other suggestions?

This absolutely my fave show. So Raw!

Jal season 2 and Effy season 1 are the best episodes. Cassie is my fave character.

Just started season 3 here in NZ. We'll be up to episode 3 next week. Although i like gen. 1 better, the cast is still solid, I reckon. Effy is still so damn hot. Hopefully Season 4 will be more like season 2 quality wise.

MTV announced Monday that they will be developing a US-version of the popular British series Skins.

The question is...will it be the next The Office (success!) or the next Coupling (failure) in terms of a British-to-US show adaptation.

Skins follows a group of teenagers - and uniquely casts unknown actors and employs young, inexperienced writers. It is also known for its nudity, language, and drug use - most of which probably cannot be shown on MTV.

However, an MTV VP of Series Development promises that they will "preserve the authenticity of the British version" and will "not water it down too much", though it is true that "MTV's version will not show nudity and will not use a certain few four-letter words."

OMG! May thread pala ng Skins dito! Every week ko yan inaabangan dati! I remember it well... Flashback scene coming up!

Back in 2007, the universe had decided to end The OC. For a fan who religiously watch it every week since the beginning, sobrang depressed ako. I couldn't watch the last episode because I'm too scared to let go (drama queen?). My sisters had seen the last episode and I vigorously shook my head when they wanted to spoil it to me. I told them that I would watch it on my birthday (which is on September). So from late February to September... Imagine, 7 months of teen show deprivation! I hated One Tree Hill na kasi at that time. LOL

I just had to find something new. Something new to obsess about because I have too much time. So there I was, looking for teen shows over the internet, then I stumbled upon Skins! (yey) Skins helped me get through those 7 months, and by the time I've seen the last episode of The OC, I was glad because I have Skins. It was a happy birthday indeed. Parang love story, ano? Haha! I'm pretty sure you guys think I'm crazy or something but... *inches away from everyone*

Sorry to trouble you into reading that. Anyway, mas gusto ko pa rin yung cast from S1 and S2. Excited ako when I heard generation ni Effy yung S3 because I really think she's interesting. She's so pretty! and the way she speaks with her eyes.... Haha! I'm having inappropriate thoughts... She's making me gay. HAHAHAHA! But I think mas gusto ko yung mysteriousness niya dati. Nung S3 na kasi, I didn't like her very much...

And I agree with a lot of people here. Cassie is one lovable character! Pretty too! I agree with cmg23, she'll make an awesome Luna Lovegood. But the girl who plays Luna Lovegood is already doing an awesome job. Tony's smokin hot too. When he sang... Gahh! Anwar's funny and Sid reminds me of Ron Weasley. Loved Jal and Chris. And who would blame Maxxie's stalker? Hahaha!

I was obviously in love with the previous cast. Hanggang ngayon kasi wala pa akong attachment sa new cast. But I'm not giving up on them. Can't wait for S4! ^_____^

I liked The Inbetweeners. It's a funny show. Yung Extras maganda din. I mean, seeing Daniel Radcliffe accidentally fling a condom on an elderly lady's head? HILARIOUS!

^Definitely....cassie is a gem.....ang galing nya umaarte and she still looks adorable even in her lucid intervals but sometimes the way she makes the other person know she knows something is just creepy....but she still is cute though

I thought I am not going to enjoy The New Generation of Skins (Season 3), but Effy is just enough reason to watch the show. Effy is so effed up hehe..

In Skins season 1 & 2, I loved the character of Cassie. Loved the ending when she went to NY. It is so open ended.

I also love a couple of songs played in the series like
Adele's Hometown Glory - Cassie's effed up moment
In season 3, when the whole "gang" went on a camping trip the song playing on the car is Lacrosse You can't say no forever.

I don't know but i'm loving the new generation and season 3 more. Although i love Cassie, Chris and Sid, i don't know i like Freddie and Effy and Jack O' Connell (Cook) is really a great actor. Siguro because i really don't like Tony.
