This is one of the best series na napanood ko. It may seem disturbing to some, pero that's the truth e. The story, songs and the characters are super good in portraying as disturbed youth.

"Skins" alum Hannah Murray replaces Elle Fanning in "God Help The Girl", Emily Browning joins as lead »
Back in April we reported that Elle Fanning was set to star in musical “God Help the Girl”, the passion project of Stuart Murdoch, lead singer of indie folk band Belle and Sebastian, and a film that had taken three years to cast after an extensive international search.
Bleeding Cool now reports that just three months later, Fanning has had to leave the cast, presumably due to filming clashes with the Disney production Maleficent, and British newcomer Hannah Murray has taken on the role of Cass instead.
“God Help The Girl” follows a young woman named Eve who drops out of college and works a mundane job while dreaming of becoming a singer/songwriter. Olly Alexander, who was also cast back in Aprl, will play James, Eve’s guitarist accompaniment. Murray will play a young aspiring guitar player named Cass, who James mentors and who tags along with the duo to their various gigs.
Bleeding Cool also reports that Australian favourite Emily Browning has been cast as Eve, which is great news as Eve is the aspiring singer/songwriter and anyone who has listened to the “Sucker Punch” soundtrack knows how wonderful Browning’s voice is.
Murdoch has written the script and will make his directorial debut when “God Help the Girl” begins filming this month on location in Glasgow.
Well known for her role in the acclaimed UK series “Skins”, this could be a big break for Murray whose big screen credits are limited, with a small role in the latest Tim Burton film “Dark Shadows” and a turn in the yet-to-be-released “The Numbers Station” with Malin Akerman. And it’s a welcome change of pace for Browning, who has often chosen highly sexualised and extreme characters in films such as “Sleeping Beauty“. Browning has recently wrapped filming on the British romance film “Summer in February”and is set to head straight into filming “Plush” with Cam Gigandet and Catherine Hardwicke once filming on “God Help The Girl” is finished

Nicholas Hoult won’t return for ‘Skins’ finale
    hannahorvath:

The X Men: First Class star has ruled out reprising his star role for the series’ farewell.

Hoult played principal character Tony Stonem in the first two seasons of the E4 teen drama. Speaking to The Sun, the actor said the following:

“No, I’m not going to be doing it. I loved Skins but I don’t think I can fit it in.

“I’m filming Mad Max in Namibia, which will mean I’m away for ages.”

No word yet on how this will affect writer Jamie Brittain’s plans for three 2013 specials, each intended to feature the different casts.

Bummerseriously, no jal, no tony - who does that really leave to bring back for the Gen 1 reunion ep? Even Hannah Murray might not be able to comeback. On the bright side- CEFFY & NAOMILY will return. I don't really care about Gen 3 since they pretty much got their happy ending.

I just finished S3 and S4 last June. I also like the 2nd generation tbh. Pandora is hilarious. Her stupidity gives me some good laughs. Didnt expect her to have a boyfriend. LOL. Effy is still effin hawt shes the girl you would surf and turf anywhere. I love how JJ gives importance to the friendship of the three musketeers. Cook is a walking disaster. I find his character annoying but Im sure this cast will be boring w/o him. And I also love the twins their petty fights entertain me tbh. Naomi and Thomas are the sweetest among the wolfpack.

    Seriously no Tony?!

I know he's busy and all but darn he should do at least like a cameo! Or just an episode. Hmmm... bummer.

Hannah Murray, Jack O’Connell and Kaya Scodelario return to Skins
E4 and Company Pictures announce the return of its multi-award winning teen drama Skins for a new series. Series seven will mark a departure in style with former stars Hannah Murray (Game of Thrones), Jack O’Connell (300: Rise of an Empire) and Kaya Scodelario (Wuthering Heights) returning to the roles which shaped their careers in three individual stories, each one broadcast in two, one hour parts.
The three stories will have distinct titles: ‘Skins Pure’ (Cassie), ‘Skins Rise’ (Cook) and ‘Skins Fire’ (Effy). Lily Loveless (Naomi) and Kat Prescott (Emily) will also appear in guest roles. Written by series creators Bryan Elsley and Jamie Brittain with Jess Brittain, Season 7 goes into new territory; more adult, more uncompromising. Each two part story centres on the characters now in their early twenties, the party’s over and they’re starting out as young adults, struggling to find a direction and a focus in unforgiving times.
Bryan Elsley, co-creator said; “I am delighted that three emblematic actors, currently embarking on successful movie careers are returning to E4 and Skins. They will play their iconic characters as they emerge into adulthood, and bring new challenging stories of young adults, grappling with life in Cameron’s Britain, to vivid and entertaining focus.”
Sophie Gardiner, Commissioning Editor of Channel 4 Drama added; “Always innovative, always truthful, Skins is a show that defined a generation. That generation is growing up. Skins seven catches up with our characters as they continue in their path to adulthood, finding out who they are going to be, and who their friends really are. The new direction that Bryan and Jamie have taken Skins will thrill and entertain fans as they negotiate the surprises that life throws at you when you’re just starting out. I can’t wait to see some of Skins’ most loved and memorable characters back on E4.”

Cassie (Hannah Murray) is adrift, alone and invisible in London, trying to make sense of her life. Slowly she realises that someone is following her. Cassie turns towards the unknown. A strange and poignant friendship is carved out of mutual loneliness, but can it survive exposure to the real world?
    ‘Skins Rise’ by Jamie Brittain
Cook (Jack O’Connell) has a job delivering drugs to Manchester Revellers. When he is asked to help his employer’s girlfriend find a house and finds that he is irresistibly attracted to her, he sets off a train of events which will lead him into a world of savage revenge and a confrontation with his own violent past.
    ‘Skins Fire’ by Jess Brittain
Effy (Kaya Scodelario) has a dead end job as a receptionist for a leading London Hedge Fund. But as she stumbles across crucial financial information relating to a troubled deal and embarks on an affair with her wealthy boss, she finds out that she has bitten off more than she can chew. Her flatmate Naomi (Lily Loveless) tries to stop Effy from ruining her life, but Effy cannot be reached; until tragedy strikes.
Executive producers are Bryan Elsley, Charlie Pattinson and George Faber, with Chris Clough as Producer. Directors are Paul Gay, Jack Clough and Charles Martin.
The new series will shoot in Manchester and London from October to January to transmit Spring 2013 on E4.
Skins is made by Company Pictures and Stormdog Films for E4.

NAOMILY is back also ,but what about katie fcking fitch?

Effy and Cassie centered mini films to wrap up skins! I cannot wait. They are my favorite characters.

Umm Jessy Mendiola is pretty but in my opinion, Kaya Scodelario is not only pretty but gorgeous, fascinating, and aesthetically more pleasing to look at..
