Ang alam ko UP Manila ang pinaka unang UP. Kaya nga sa UP Manila nagstart ang program nung centennial eh. Dahil sapagkat because dun isinilang ang Unibersidad ng Pilipinas.

anyway, starting this thread was a horrible idea, i guess. i regret to be the one to start a thread like this, as much as i regret starting the "is ateneo better than UP?" thread. it was never my intention to start an arguement in this community. i started these threads to know the opinion of other people. kayo nag-iisip na naghahanap ako ng gulo.

I guess we learn from our mistakes...I take it personally to correct threads like this because it was one of the reasons why I joined PEX. My first ever post was to try and stop a word war from UST-SDT fans and UP Pep fans in the UAAP thread...so I kinda take it as a failure if I don't do something.

Anyway, regarding the "diliman and others"; "kung hindi ka sa diliman, wag ka magyabang"..I've heard far worst, and not just from diliman students...trust me.

We love our campuses, but there is one thing we love even better...being UP students

In my 5 year stay in Diliman I never heard of that comment "Diliman lang ang UP". Meron kantiyawan between colleges and my college engg is notorious for that...but thats just about it. It gets worse kapag nag aasaran ang mga departments sa engg.

And as the song goes "we share the same biology, regardless of ideology"
