So yun.

Nag-download ako niyang sinabi mo. Paano mag-register nang IOS image?

Please help me. I really want to learn the subject. Actually self-study lang din ako. I don't have that much budget para mag-enroll pa sa mga schools like Mapua, UPITC etc. So I'm studying the course on my own. Mag-aaral ako ulit kapag sumusuweldo na ako.

I was hired for an entry level position -- IT, Systems and Network Engineer so I am really studying hard to impress my employer. Kahit alam nila na hilaw pa ako. Hahahaha

    Help me. Thanks.

Kung meron kayong free training (as in free ha. walang bayad), baka puwede akong pumunta. I still have few days left..

    ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 <ip address or interface here>

About sa training, nag conference kami kahapon. I am gonna post it here yung schedule so just check it out paminsan minsan.

zerglings, i-post mo na yung explanation on the other thread. duon na rin ako mag-po-post ng ibang questions ko.

configuring a default route on a router yang command na yan?

Kunwari tumawag ang client niyo na may problema ang isang router nila sa isang branch office, if you can resolve the issue by connecting to that router via telnet, SSH, you will resolve that issue in your office. Just check the router configuration etc.

So be prepared din and work smartly. Act like you know how to resolve the issue (kahit hinde). Hehehe

    Good luck.

I disagree. In my opinion, it's better to have a CCNA job first before studying CCNP.

@topic, I am about to take my CCNA exam as well. I hope to pass and to get a good job. Good luck to all all of us here =)

Aight. If that's what you think then go ahead. If you want to separate you from the rest then you gotta have CCNP. Like I said, there are bunch of CCNAs in the Phils, India, US, and etc. If I am a manager I'd rather pick CCNPs than CCNAs from a pile of resumes. That's just my opinion. You know what they say about that, "opinions are like @ssh0le, everybody has one".

Apat (4) na exam (150 US Dollars each) ang kailangan mong kunin before mo makuha ang CCNP certificate. Para hindi sayang ang oras mo. Paano kung matagalan kang makahanap ng work?

Anyways, opinion ko lang naman yun. Ikaw pa rin ang mag-de-decide.

    All the best.

Exactly! That's what I usually say to all people that are having problems getting a job in the field. Since wala ka pang experience at masyadong competitive na ang IT at lalo na ang mga companies they expect you to know a lot.

    RE: CCNP
I posted something here about the changes to the exam.

You have until June 30, 2010 to pass all four of them if you want the old curriculum. Now, if you pass BSCI and BCMSN now then you it'll be counted as ROUTE and SWITCH exam then that means you only need the TSHOOT exam. This is all based on the PDF file that Cisco sent out to CNAP instructors.

I'm done with BCMSN and will continue CCNP next year. Right now, concentrating on DESGN exam.

Kumusta na kayo mga Network Engineers?

  18. #58
    Just an info

I meet a friend in Singapore, he said he is CCNA Wireless and currently going to CCNP Wireless. He said right now the industry is flooded with CCNA and CCNP, everybody passes to the eye of the needle. With the emergence of wireless technology you may now consider changing paths

  20. #60
R&S pa rin, IMO. Wireless is an emerging technology for sure. However, most of the job postings that you'll see requires CCNP. Most, if not all, jobs that I've seen that requires wireless knowledge asks for CWNA/CWNE certification and not CCNP Wireless.
